SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru is located a 15-minute drive from JR Beppu Station and boasts guestrooms with a semi open-air bath. Guests can soak in the hot spring bath. Private parking is available for an additional fee. Unfortunately their dinner service was out of our budget, so we got food from outside before arrival (there are literally no restaurants within walkable distance, so please get something before you arrive, from Beppu Station for example). You can take the bus here from Beppu Station and it's a small uphill walk. Breakfast was amazing, however! I really enjoyed the seasonal veggies and the local ingredients. The onsen in the room was wonderful and there's plenty of amenities to use (make up remover, lotions, facial cottons, hair tie, too!) There's chopsticks, plates and forks and wine glasses in the room btw.
