Even though we couldn't communicate very well with the staff a translation app on our phone got us through it easy. Not much English spoke this far north and there is very little Western influence, but that's what makes this hotel and town unique. Chinese buffet for breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The complex is situated at one end of the lake, away from the main street. This isn't a problem as the walk around the lake to the other side takes about 10 minutes and has some stunning views along the way. We arrived with a hire car which wasn't a problem as there is ample parking behind the hotel. The room was really nice with a low level bed and large bathroom. The restaurant, for breakfast, attached to the hotel is a short walk (2 mins) and provided a set menu breakfast that was mainly Asian. A lovely hotel with a nice family feel

The villa is AMAZING, the views are breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious, the cat is adorable and the hosts are very nice and taking care of any need, we never had to ask for something twice. We enjoyed our stay so very much and will be back soon.
