Located on the cliffside and nicer side of Mürren close to the mountain clouds. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and the view from the balcony is just heavenly (make sure to request for a room by the mountain side), check pics. Bfast was good and also had dinner here twice, their food is great and servers are attentive. Hotel is the first one on the cliffside after turning left from the train station, it isn’t a very long walk. I had an overall pleasant stay and will stay here again.

This hotel is outstanding. My wife and I booked a stay here without knowing that it was their first week reopened after a remodel. Everything in the room and all amenities were brand new and top quality. We were upgraded to a mountain view room, which was exceptional. Wengen is a stunning mountain town, and this hotel is warm, relaxing, and the staff took extra care to be hospitable and accommodating. They offered to drive us anywhere and picked us up from the train station, which was nice not to pull our luggage through the snow. Additionally, my wife has some sensitivity to smells that can trigger her migraines and this hotel was fragrance free which we always appreciate when traveling. We ate at the restaurant, which has an expansive menu to fit many dietary needs and was much better than the other restaurant we went to in town.

This place is so great! Great view, quite area, clean. The hotel staff will go all the way to assist you and they're super friendly. This hotel is definitely more than 3stars. Good value for your money!

Great to view Really not worth walking up behind the falls.

Great to view Really not worth walking up behind the falls. Not that spectacular really. Long queues. Went once and turned back near the top because of huge queue at end. Went a second time when really quiet in the evening and was very underwhelmed. Not worth the wait.

I will never in my life beat the view we had from our hotel room here. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We stayed in a triple room that looked directly out on Staubbach Falls and it was incredible. Everything was clean, our room was quiet, the whole experience was wonderful.

This hotel offers an authentic Swiss chalet experience in the heart of the valley. The view of Lauterbrunnen village from the room window is stunning, and the location is ideal—just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and Staubbach Falls. The staff were very friendly and even helped us carry our luggage to the room. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits available.

All good things folks have mentioned in prior reviews are absolutely true. The views from our family room were stunning! We are still in shock that we got 5-star hotel views from a hostel!!! Lauterbrunnen valley and Staubbach Falls are spectacular! Book the family room!! 3-minute walk to train station is a huge plus! Highly recommend!

Love this place! The hostel is located in a beautiful spot in the valley, along a river with beautiful views of the mountains and waterfalls, including great views of the Staubbach Falls right behind. The room is small but clean, and the layout of the facilities were very well thought out. The showers and laundry are located in the basement, but are big and clean. The common areas are huge and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located a bit away from the train station, but still convenient to get to with the bus.

This hostel boasts the best location in Lauterbrunnen, right in front of Staubbach Falls. In the evening, when the falls are illuminated, the view is simply breathtaking. You can also enjoy a peaceful morning walk around the area before the large crowds arrive after 9 AM.

Great apartment in a beautiful location walking distance into Lauterbrennan and Staubbach Falls. The apartment has good beds and warm duvets. The deck faces Jungfrau. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved staying there.

As advertised... the view of the Staubbach Falls from our apartment balcony was breathtaking. Truly enjoyed our quaint stay. The 3 bedroom apartment could easily house 10 people. But there were only 3 of us. Host was not local but able to be reached and respond very quickly to our needs. We were also welcomed with a bottle of local beer and chocolate. We truly enjoyed our one night stay. Place was very clean, and everything we need.

What i like 1. Located next to Staubbach Falls and city centre, its so perfect... 2. Room is spacious, bed is comfy, great view when we open the window, cozy room with local feel (Swiss typical furnish), we fall in love with the room (We booked Twin Room with Shower) 3. Shower only Inside room 4. They have parking site, we can park our motorcycle 5. In the Ground Floor, there is a Pub and Resto (Good food and ambience) Definitely recommended Hotel in Lauterbrunnen
