Fantastic beds! Usually hotels very soft beds that kills our back but these were firm and so comfy! Great to have slippers. Great toiletries. The room had coffee machine and everything was very clean. It was great that parking was included. Good sound proof.

Excellent location and great communication in advance regarding how and where to park. The hotel itself is spotless, all the doors and windows are very clean in shared areas Bedroom was large and airy with fresh white linen and lots of towels. Breakfast was nice though the eggs were all overdone to our taste but it was all hot and served nicely. Friendly staff and superb location.

We hit Galway during a spate of bad weather and probably can't give Eyre Square it's due. It is a very nice green space in the middle of downtown Galway. Try to go when it isn't pouring!

Don't bother, too many stall of crap, too many stalls of same same food. Had been hoping for proper artisan stalls, dint find any just stalls with rude stall holders. In fairness the Christmas ornament stall were fantastic, so lovely to deal with, but other than that the stall holders spoke to customers like they owned them a living. Very very disappointed. Last time I'll go. Would rather support my local small businesses.

this is the second time we've stayed at the Dean. its a good location about 5 minutes from Eyre Square and quieter for weekend stays . given some of the other hotels which are loud at night into the small hours. the hotel is lovely .very clean . the house keeping staff are friendly are friendly and courteous .no complaints at all about the room very likely to stay again . one of the top two hotels in Galway City Centre

The location of this hotel is perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the train and bus stations, Eyre square, and the Latin Quarter. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel was quiet at night. The rooms are clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is in walking distance from the train station. We took a bus over from Dublin and walked. The location was also very close to Eyre Square and just outside the Latin Quarter where the main walk around street with pubs and restaurant were located. Made for easy dining and pub crawling. Also easy to walk across river and up to Galway University and Cathedral. The two floor apartment was great to have with my 21 and 24 year old sons. They had their own rooms and we were upstairs. Nice living room and kitchen.

The apartments are wonderful for a five day stay. They have kitchens, a washer (with the funky dryer that is part of it), plenty of space to spread out, a terrific location a block from Eyre Square and a responsive staff! We were on the 4th floor and the views of Galway were a nice addition.

Hotel has very nice with a full restaurant and bar. Fully equipped gym and swimming pool were a bonus. Bus station close by running to Eyre Square in Galway every 15 minutes allowed us to park the rental car. Very convenient stay.

Unbeatable location - right in the fun and lively pub zone, and a short walk from trains and buses at the coach station and the city busses in Eyre Square. The noise was really not an issue. There was one busker who seriously sucked ass but he gave up before bed time, and the hotel has no control over that type of thing anyway.

The location was perfect. The hotel is so close to the bus station and literally along Eyre Square. All attractions were accessible by walking or a quick bus ride. As much as I enjoy music, I was glad to be in a room that was quiet and allowed me time to rest. I never had breakfast but I had lunch and dinner both were delicious! The restaurant/pub is one of the most beautiful in Galway.

Fantastic location, right outside the Latin Quarter but without all the noise of other hotels within the Quarter itself. Literally a 30 second walk to the Spanish Arch, every restaurant you could want, and just a few minutes to Eyre Square and the train station.

We enjoyed our stay at the Galmont. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, with a range of options available. The breakfast is €15pp if you pre-book it - we booked breakfast at reception the night before each breakfast. The pool facilities were clean - access to the pool is free of charge for hotel guests. The staff were friendly. The hotel is in a good location for access to Eyre Square. The underground parking is €12 per night.
