Almost everything. The hotel is situated in a town near the Angkor park, it has spacious and nicely decorated rooms, all the facilities (big swimming pool, spa, a nice restaurant), and the service is excellent: we had early check in, late checkout, transfer from and to the airport, welcome coconuts and drinks, fruits in the room and even a bottle of wine, although we haven’t drunk it – everything for free! Also the staff is very helpful and friendly, they will take care of everything you need. No need to say that they have organised a car tour around the park for us very quickly and with no issues. For its price it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to 🔥

This is the most wonderful hotel I have stayed in on my trip through South East Asia. Great value for money. I paid $64 for 4 nights in a really comfy twin room with en suite.. No view but who cares. Excellent location off Khmer Beer Street. Only 15 mins from centre of town by tuktuk. The hotel provided free pick up from bus stop. My tuk tuk driver, Mr Samith, was wonderful. Kind, knowledgeable, safe, utterly trustworthy. I employed him throughout my stay for day trips and trips to town. He is putting his 2 teens through school and all his income is from tourists. Do use him when you are here. Staff at the hotel are lovely and the pool is a real bonus after a hot and sweaty day out. Good food in the restaurant as well and great massage. A really fabulous find. Enjoy!

Beautiful small hotel. The staff are so helpful and polite. The location was so central but just far enough away not to be disturbed. Breakfast choices were good enough choices to suit everyone. The manager was on site to help with any issues. We had problem with bus company and was helping by the hotel's staff properly.

Angkor Wat

This epic temple is so revered in Cambodia it appears on the country’s flag. Built during the 12th-century heyday of the Khmer Empire, it was first dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu before becoming a Buddhist temple. In terms of size and complexity, you can’t help but be bowled over by its barrage of giant moats, steep walls and lofty beehive-like towers.

Wonderful site.

Wonderful site. The biggest and best preserved relic of that era hundreds of years ago. Most of the time one can escape the crowds and have some moments of peace, especially away from the center of the site.

This is an amazing place that should be visited several times. The government managed tourist pass can cover three days which provides access to the temple area of Seim Reap. I recommend a first visit with a government registered guide. Then return on later days to wander and really immerse yourself in the history. Make sure your camera is ready to take a lot of photos because you will find yourself snapping shots very quickly and often.

Choose a sun rise tour. I would recommend to get a 3 day pass. Day one go for a short circuit sun rise tour. Day 2 go for a long circuit guided tour. On the day 3, rent a bike and explore the place yourselves.

Big, beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms. Spotlessly cleaned. Our two bedrooms, two bathrooms suite was wonderful, it even had a washing machine with - in a lovely touch - washing liquid provided. Comfortable beds. Excellent food. Lovely location. Pleasant gardens and pool. To cap it all, Chateau has superb staff and service. For Angkor Wat, we also used the hotel recommended guide - Kim - and tuk tuk driver Mr Hak. If they are available, then use both; they really looked after us.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. At check-in, we were greeted with tea and fresh fruit, which was such a nice touch. In our room, we also received a complimentary afternoon tea — it was amazing! The two pools were beautiful and relaxing. We rented a scooter directly from the hotel to explore the area and visit Angkor Wat — it was absolutely amazing and very close by. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a beautiful place. Open the door to my room was a lovely surprise. Very spacious with a great layout and a balcony over looking the pool. Which was area a lovely place to relax after a long day exploring Angkor Wat. I ate at the hotel 3 nights as the food was delicious and a good variety of dishes. Breakfast had a variety of set items and all very tasty. The staff were fantastic and made me feel at home.

The property is a medium-sized hotel. It is clean and fairly spacious. The restaurant and the food is good. It has a small swimming pool to relax after a hot day. The staff are helpful and arranged a guide and a vehicle to take me around Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. The main road in front of the hotel is spacious and clean. Overall it has a good ambience and I would strongly recommend it.

The Hotel, The Staff and flexibility to accommodate myself. Very central location in Siem Reap, a short walk to Pub Street. Mini mart was close by also. Wide range of Breakfast options on the menu and freshly cooked. Channan always greeted me with a smile, asked me how my day was going and helped plan my trip to the Angkor Watt Complex. My room was incredibly spacious, was well above 5 star and the pool was a relaxing setting after a hot day.

Excellent location, very close to Angkor Wat. The hotel organizes everything for you, from the airport pickup to the tour at Angkor Wat. It's super clean, beds are very comfy and the shower is great. The food at the restaurant is particularly good, specially the Cambodian specialities. Since we visited in rainy season we spent most of the time at the hotel and we are very grateful we had everything we needed at the hotel.

the pool is spectacular, the pool bar great, (any cocktail 2.5$) and the food excellent. We had twin deluxe room with pool view for 5 nights. Very nice. Of course, we saw Angkor Wat and the Kulen Waterfall but the rest of the time we were happily staying in our hotel and going out in. the night in the well organised and clean centre with a decent nightlife. I live in Bangkok since 3 years and I regret not having discovered Cambodia earlier. I also recommend Luang Prapang in Laos.

Do take a guided tour of the temples but not with Siem Reap Shuttle Tours - such an amazing place to visit with so much to learn and discover...shame we had the tour guide from "I don't like you because you won't buy the expensive lunch on offer" so he from then on hardly spoke to us! Incredibly rude and spoilt what should have been one of our best explorations. Out of eight people on the tour we were the only two to stick it out till the end as we only had the one day to see as much as we could...we then had to watch many programmes on Angkor Wat to find out what we had just seen! A big shame.
