The walk up the mountain behind it at dawn was memorable and the scenery stunning. The breakfast was very good with little birds flying around us! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ndina, whom we nagged with quite a few requests.

great lodge, very nicely and sustainably built into the natural surroundings, impressive historic main building, the cottages are beautifully nestled into the surrounding landscape, fantastic large pool with great view, also very good food in the restaurant!

With garden views, Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse is set in Stamprivier and has a restaurant, an ATM, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is offered.

Décoration from the reception, the room to the restaurant is amazing. Room is clean with all equipment needed. Friendly staff and amazing food (breakfast and dinner).

I felt in love with this campsite the first time I saw! I camped but, if you want, they have also room, a little shop, a bar and the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every tent station has also a barbecue and big space around. If you want to visit Fish River Canyon this is the place to stop for the night.

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available.
