The hotel is well located in Thamel, close to the main street for shopping your stuff for the EBC trekking. The staff were really kind and helpful, specially Ganga, who helped me with some guidance for my stay in Kathmandu. I could leave my bag for free when I went to the EBC. Breakfast was good enough, the room is spacious, clean and the shower was really good. I really like this hotel and will return again if I had the opportunity to come back in Nepal.

The plaza was amazing because of all of the history of each and every building, it was great to have a guide and just be caeful about who is going to be your guide becasue sometimes people will only tell funny stories and fake stories to make you laugh but then you would miss the real history. It's a familial hotel, very close (30m) to Patan Durbar Square (impossible to find a better location in this historical area). The hotel is a traditional building, well preserved, the staff very helpful, thanks to Satish and all of them! The tenant has also a lovely restaurant on the square, where you may enjoy very good food and a fantastic view. If you are interested in a true Nepali experience in Kathmandu, we recommend this hotel!!!
