The position of the hotel (located in Lombard Street) is not strictly central but useful and comfortable to reach any destination, if you have a car available; also the quarter is pleasant because it is full of shops and little restaurants. The room (King standard with view on Lombard Street) is large and clean; the bathroom too; the staff is kind and polite; they received us with courtesy and gentleness, in particular the young Jackeline: for example, we asked a kettle for the night and they gave it immediately. But the added value of this hotel is the large parking area, free and covered. You can park in a garage at the ground floor of the building, located in front of the desk point, under surveillance; but, even if you don’t find a space in that area, you can have access to an another underground garage, very wide, you can enter in using the same key of the room. A system safe and quickly!

We are returning guests at the hotel. The location in Fishermans Wharf is fantastic with access to the costal walk to the Marina and Golden Gate bridge. Cable car station directly around the corner. Surroundings feel safe, the hotel's restaurant (Blue Mermaid) features tasty (sea)food at reasonable prices. The room was very spacious, the hot tup is a nice feature. Daily room service (unfortunately no more industry standard). Overall excellent value for money!

Took a bus to the bridge on a beautiful October Morning and...

Took a bus to the bridge on a beautiful October Morning and walked to the middle of the bridge. Amazing views and it is still an awesome sight (my 4th visit now) They really have gone to town to make this a great area, clean, safe and well managed. Lots of people cycling / running / walking over the bridge, but all respectful as are all Americans frankly! Lots of photo opportunities. A MUST for any visitor to SF!

Brilliant cafe with organic and different foods, exciting drinks and smoothies to get the energy up for walking the bridge. You might want a mask for the fumes but it is great fun. Read the signs in the car park as there are quite a few break ins into cars so take nothing expensive to leave in the car.
