the breakfast was scrumptious, the hostess was so kind and well-organised, the walks to the river and the garden surrounds were so peaceful. The room was so comfortable and the staff were really accommodating. I even took my Small Dog, and the establishment is very pet friendly! I will be going back!

We went away with friends (8 ppl) We loved the living area. It’s beautifully spacious yet cozy around the fire place. It has everything you need. There are 4 bathrooms and more than enough hot water for showers. The sunrises over Midmar Dam are exquisite. The bedrooms are made up beautifully & each bed has an electric blanket on, which was a treat for our winter stay.

Lovely unit, that mostly had everything we needed for the weekend we stayed there. The gas stove is a winner during loadshedding. The village of Howick really has alot to offer, the Howick Falls, Karkloof Market on the weekend and lovely coffee shops (Bluebird is excellent) and some lovely shops as well. Very close to Midmar dam, Piggly Wiggly as well as Nottingham road.
