Hotels near Paul Kruger National Park, Skukuza

This hotel was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, the rooms were superb and our meals were always delicious. The real highlight was the breathtaking view from the lookout pool. During our stay, we saw hippos, hyenas, and 3 leopards in the distance.

Nice place, nice stuff All was good

We had a wonderful stay at Langa Langa and we would love to come back again! First, the location is perfect. It is very close to Paul Kruger Gate and also near Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. So you can visit both parks (Sabi Sands for an extra price), but you don’t pay the expensive prices of staying inside the parks. For us, this was a big advantage. One safari per night in Kruger Park was included, you can choose morning or afternoon. We always asked for the same guide, Floyd, as he knew what we were looking for and did everything to help us find the animals we wanted. On the first day, we almost saw all of the Big Five. Only the leopard was missing, and they're known to be a bit shy. The goal of day 2 was to spot a Leopard, and at the end of the day, we did! Thanks to Floyd. And most importantly, the staff at Langa Langa were all so friendly. The food was really delicious, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The tent had air conditioning (which is necessary with these temperatures), the pool was very nice, and it was amazing that Silence and the other staff members knew exactly which drinks we wanted and when to bring them. All guests were treated like kings and queens. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Langa Langa to anyone who wants the real safari experience combined with the right amount of luxury, all for a very fair price. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a few unforgettable days in nature. Also, they’re currently building new tents and a larger pool, so I believe future guests will have an even better experience than we did.

Our guide Tyrone and trackers Mashaba/Forward were amazing. We assume we were very fortunate since we saw the big 5 within 6 hours. We also - thanks to the guide and tracker - had amazing leopard sightings. We had an amazing time and definitely would love to come back. Recommended!! Everything. Exceptional service

An amazing property of 10 tents so it feels wonderfully intimate and this means the game drives don’t feel crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly, food exceptional and the rooms sensitively decorated, comfortable with hot showers. The pool is perfect to relax between game drives. The site has been planted out with succulents making the garden areas unique but really beautiful and less dependent on water than other species. Leopard and hyena routinely pass through the property. At night you can hear lion not far off and in the day all manner of bird life make for a beautiful sound. it’s very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the view and taking it all in. We were made to feel right at home and had a fantastic 2 night stay.
