SwitzerlandA beautiful old property (one of the oldest in Zapallar and full of eccentricities and antiques) in a stunning location. Right next to the protected peninsula (wonderful for exploring to hear and really feel the sea) and also to one of the best seafood restaurants in Chile, Chiringuitos. The owner is welcoming and full of stories about the history and surroundings. He organised a small boat trip to the nearby penguin island. The best sleep I had in Chile too, listening to the sea at night.

ChileVery nice gardens with lots of plants and a great view of the valley. The pool with a natural filter is very cool. Breakfast is delicious. You feel being taken care of. As soon as we arrived, Ignacio informed us about the local activities for 18 and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! The location is close to ruta 5 and a quick drive to the beach.
