Sato was a great host ,he gave a lot of useful information and even helped with transport back and forth from kutchan station, the room is comfortable and there's a free shuttle to the resort not too far from the lodge.

This place is ridiculously cozy & checked all the boxes for a perfect stay! Plus they really went out of their way to help me get to my next location - including calling the bus companies to make reservations. It's not luxurious but that wasn't what I needed. Cozy and convenient to get to snowboarding, it was great!

Great lodge at the bottom of Grand Hirafu village. We loved the community atmosphere in the common area during breakfast and in the evening. An easy walk down from the ski resort, or back up to go out for dinner. The host picked us up from the Kutchan train station which was great!

The location was perfect just a small 3 minute walk to the closest lift . As its a english school also was nice to interact with locals and my 15 year okd som made friends with some of the students and went skiing with them.
