I have been to Sri Lanka three or four times, and when I come, I mostly stay in places connected with nature. Really, this place is very beautiful, and no matter how hot it was, it didn't feel like it inside this room. Here is a place of amazing beauty combined with a real jungle-like environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone. This is the place that provided the best service at the lowest price among the places I have visited in Sri Lanka. The staff was very close to us and provided good service. I highly recommend it as the only place that gave the best service for the lowest price.

The room is quite spacious. It's the biggest room we've stayed in the whole Sri Lanka trip. The staff were very friendly. They helped us to prepare the other morning's breakfast package for the Safari tour. We left for the Safari at 5:30a, our breakfast had been there ready. It's at the end of a small village road, and there's a pond in front of the hotel. It's quiet.

The owner is so nice and helpful. And he cooks well too. Dinner and breakfast are so delicious. We can have food under the tree, chill and peaceful.

The hotel also organized a pottery session at a local's home, a cooking class for traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, and a relaxing massage session. However, the true highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff. Praveen, the general manager, and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Instances like arranging unexpected laundry services and personally driving us to a distant restaurant showcased their unparalleled dedication. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Couldn’t speak strong English but always went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel welcome and comfortable. Sad to leave this place

Our stay at Green Nest Yala was a wonderful experience. You are in the Sri Lankan bush, surrounded by nature! The site is full of native herbal trees giving it that lush bush feel. The main lounge/ dining area and the lovely swimming pool overlook a lake. The sunsets over the lake are really pretty. The manager is such a lovely person. He was incredibly attentive and really friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that we were happy. He couldn't do more to ensure our stay was perfect. He took us for a walk to the lake at sunset and he pointed out the many crocodiles that live there!! He also pointed out many other animals and birds that live here including monkeys, rabbits, peacocks, squirrels, chameleons, lizards, large ants, water buffalo and eagles. Sometimes a wild elephant may even pass by. There are hundreds of different birds enjoying the trees at Green Nest Yala. We stayed for two relaxing nights and enjoyed all our meals here which were home cooked by the manager and truly very delicious! Our bedroom was basic but very clean and tidy. There is quiet AC and hot water. The main lodge is a great space to sit and relax. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. Oh, and the sun beds are the best! We were the only guests for most of our stay so we had the run of this delightful place to ourselves. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

Amazing property where you can spend your evening looking at peacocks in the garden and beautiful sunset from the property backyard. The hospitality was great, they went out of their way to make me comfortable. You can also explore the nearby area with a bicycle kept at the property. All in all totally worth the experience ❤️
