I have stayed in Katun Laništa for 3 night in the beginning of May. The Katun is only accessible by walking or 4x4 as it is located in the mountains, but since I had a normal car and a suitcase, the hosts can offer you a ride in their 4x4 jeep to the katun from their house in the village. My stay in Katun Laništa has been wonderful. As it was the start of the season, they were still preparing the Katun but that did not bother me at all. The hosts are super friendly and provide you with everything you need. The food is amazing, and the home grow and home cook everything here. The Katun has a lot of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses and pigs) which makes it even more fun to stay here. The Katun is located within fields filled with wildflowers and the mountain views are spectacular! I was really able to calm down here. I spent my time reading in the hammocks, hiking to Biogradsko Jezero and in the woods surrounding the Katun. In short, I would recommend everyone to come here, at least have some food but even better stay a few nights.

The distance between the train and the bungalow is very close, Max 5 minutes by taxi. Welcomed by a very sweet and hospitable family. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We fell in love with the view of the terrace. We are thinking of coming again in the summer :)

Everything was incredibly comfortable, with love. So many details, everything that you could need in your rest trip. The place accommodated six people very comfortably. The kitchen is large in comparison to other places in Montenegro and is equipped with whatever is needed. The Host is very helpful and accommodated every requests of ours. The location is perfect. It’s not too far from the centre of Kolasin but is in a quiet place just above the Tara river. Wi-Fi signal was strong.
