United Arab EmiratesAbsolutely everything. We were welcomed by such great people. Our house we stayed in was beautiful. The games drives were excellent, and never felt like a rush. Food was amazing. We didn't get to use the hot tub, unfortunately, but the view from the hot tub would have been incredible. We're sad that we only stayed 1 night. Highly recommend it.

South AfricaAn absolute gem of a place. A bit of a drive needing a high clearance vehicle but absolutely worth it! The self braai meal option was delicious and everything was prepared well in advance so that you literally just get to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Kat is a very thoughtful host.

Our stay was a bit unusual. While we looked forward to our stay in the pod, an extreme turn off weather forced us to stay in the lodge facility instead. The lodge was beautiful and the manager and staff were very flexible in making the alternative arrangements work out for the best! Dinner (lamb shank) was everything I dreamed of!

We stayed in Pod 1. We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.

Amazing experience! worth the additional km’s from Cape Town (if your driving) to spend a couple of days at Samara. there’s so much diversity and you never feel like your on the ‘Safari conveyer belt’ with dozens of other tourists!
In particular our guide ‘Marlin’ was terrific! He went out of his way to do everything to ensure we had a wonderful all-round experience.
