Everything is very clean and in good condition. The service everywhere is amazing. The food at restaurant was also very tasty with big portions and cocktails at bar were perfect.

The surroundings and ambiance, the constant sound of the stream running right next to our open room, the different birds chirping all the time, the loose and relaxed approach of Polo and the rest of the staff, but extremely professional. The food presentation and flavours were marvellous and the chocolate Polo makes, exquisite. And of course Sildo and his helpful donkey.

The lodge offers a hot tub. The property was beautiful and the very friendly staff did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The two friendly dogs were good company.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

Simón Bolívar International Airport is 46 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. This is a beautiful house with outstanding Mountain Views. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

An American breakfast is available at the lodge. If you're not going to stay in Tayrona National Park Colinas de Calabazo is one of the best options. The hosue is just 400 m away from the entrance to the park. Buses between Santa Marta and Palomino stops here. There are some shops (only basic products and slightly higher prices) and restaurants. The owener speaks Spanish and English, and he's a very friendly and helpful person. The house itself is located 200 m from the main road so it's calm and quite (the only noises are dogs barking at night and birds chirping in the morning). There are two or three guests rooms and the owner lives here as well. There's a small swimming pool (to cool down, not to swim) and rooftop terrace with tables and hammock - good place to rest after hiking. We got the only room on the 1st floor which was quite large and comfortable, the same with bathroom. Everytwhere was really clean. There's no kitchen available, but a breakfast is served every morning. Also, we asked for an electric kettle and we got one with two cups.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I loved how welcoming our hosts Justine & Danny were, plus they had amazing activities to offer. The kitchen area is just perfect to prepare some delicious dinner. The communal area with hammocks, couches and the pool are just perfect to relax after an adventure and the property is well maintained. Proximity to Tayrona National Park is just 10 walking minutes to the next entrance.

With mountain views, Minca El Dorado Reserve is situated in Minca and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. For bird lovers this is paradise. Plenty of nature around to see many local and migratory birds. If you like just trail walking, this is a nice option. Trails inside the reserve make it a wild and excellent experience.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the freshly made food and drinks are delicious. It is in a quiet area with so many birds around and within walking distance to Pozo Azul and Casacada Perdida/Escondida. Large terrace with hammocks to watch the beautiful sunsets.
