Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers.

The chalets are equipped with a clothing rack, solar powered lamps, mosquito nets and en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower. Water at the camp is gas-heated. We loved our stay at Africa on foot. It was a very unique and special stay that I feel very lucky to have experienced. The walking safaris were like any other and very special to see how the guides track animals. Their skill is incredible. All staff were lovely and knowledgeable - from the guides, through to the cooks and maintenance workers. The food was also amazing! I am vegetarian and was extremely happy with the quality of the food I was given. They feed you really well!

Mbizi Bush Lodge serves a 3-course dinner and a full breakfast. Guests can relax on the terrace. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. The property offers free parking. Stay at the lodge in the private Griejete Park Reserve at Mbizi Bush Lodge was truly remarkable. Breathtaking scenery, with an amazing pool and stunning views, the lodge provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable holiday. What truly set this experience apart was the expertise and hospitality of Bjorn and his family, who served as our hosts. As an experienced ranger with a deep knowledge of the local wildlife, Bjorn enriched our stay with insightful safaris and engaging conversations about animals. Bjorn's family contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like part of their own. Delicious meals, their genuine care for our comfort and enjoyment was evident throughout our stay.

Surrounded by nature and wildlife, Greenfire Game Lodge is located inside the Balule Game Reserve. It offers a viewing deck, dining room and outdoor pool.

Greenfire Game Lodge has a shared lounge with a fireplace and library. Hoedspruit Airport is 25 km away. We had an excellent first South African safari experience at the Greenfire Game Lodge. The atmosphere was genuinely friendly and relaxed, The owners Nigel and Carol and their staff are making sure that you feel very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are actually nicely decorated and comfortable cabins with a deck that is overlooking the riverbed and the bush on the other side. You can spend hours there just listening to the sound of the bush and watch elephants, giraffes and other animals pass by. The food was very nice and varied, the breakfast was great with fresh fruit, yogurt, scones and an assortment of egg based dishes to choose from. Lunch and dinner and wine assortment very nice as well. And finally the game drives.. such an amazing experience!! Our guide Given is such a wealth of knowledge, he transmitted his passion for his work, and patiently and willingly answered all our questions about the surrounding nature, the animals and about South African culture and politics, it was a pleasure to make his acquaintance (we were the only guests for 2 nights, arriving just after the end of the high season, so we had a lot of opportunity to chat during the drives, although the breathtaking surroundings left us speechless at times). Given is an excellent tracker and we had wonderful wildlife encounters. We appreciated his respect for the animals and the environment, we never had the feeling that we were “chasing” the animals and the Green Fire guides don’t drive off-road due to the risk of killing animals and harming the terrain, which was one of the reason we chose this lodge over others. Our stay at Green Fire lodge definitely made us want to go back and spend more time in the beautiful South African nature.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. What an incredible experience at Muweti. We were hosted by Audrey and our guide Neil. They were both extremely kind and really took good care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities you'd expect. The property is well-kept and with only 3 lodges it maintains a calm aura. The food was absolutely spectacular - the kitchen really works wonders. Our day always began with a morning game drive, followed by breakfast, some free time, lunch, and then an afternoon game drive. We rounded off with a sit by the fire and then dinner and drinks. Everything was very well coordinated and efficient. The game drives were super. Not only did we see a lot of animals and birds (Muweti is located inside a private reserve), but the level of knowledge that Neil had was unreal. We learned a lot about the behaviors, habits, and physiology of many animals, birds and even trees from Neil. He's young, talented, and very funny so the game drives were incredibly fun. We'd go back to Muweti in a heartbeat - it was a great experience.
