We chose a hotel for the weekend. The room was large enough, cozy and very clean. Lovely well-kept garden. The hostess was very nice and friendly. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was simple and delicious. The view of the mountains, the river, the olive groves is absolutely stunning. It was quiet and cozy here. We had a good rest. The hotel is well suited for those planning to visit the archaeological park

This has to be the best place to stay in Albania. The whole castle is for yourself, we booked it together with my girlfriend and we were in shock how magic this place is. I think this place could be amazing for a family of four, you have dogs, cats, deer’s, cows perfect for kids and for adults too. If we could we would stay here forever. The host is very friendly and replies very fast. He brings fresh breakfast every morning. Everything is from their farm, so the food is really tasty. When i come again to Albania i would definitely come back here.

The hosts were really lovely and met us at the property. The property is a really special.place, absolutely beautiful outside area with a gorgeous pool and the view is spectacular. All the bedrooms had a lovely balcony. It's up in the mountains with very little around it. About a 20 minute drive to the coast.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Demaj. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh and varied options. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Berat’s historic center, making it easy to explore the town. But without a doubt, the best part was the hospitality and generosity of the owners, especially their son, who was absolutely amazing – always ready to help, guiding us throughout our stay, and with an impressive level of English. OMG! Amazing breakfast. We stayed at 7 different places this trip and we think this was the best breakfast provided, beating out 5 star hotels. The location is fantastic overlooking the Gorica neighbourhood and an easy walk to Berat Castle. It is rustic and may not be everyone’s taste or style but we loved it!
