The property is beautiful and you can see the ocean from the room. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, the wifi was very good, and you could even drive your scooter on the black sand in the sunset. I would gladly return.

We had a fantastic stay at "Melaya Beach Resort". The cottages are situated right on the beach, there is a very nice swimming pool, the room was clean and the bad - very comfortable. But most of all we did like the people. Sopek and the rest of the guys are such nice, kind and hospitable people, it was a great pleasure staying there.

Over the years of traveling, I have seen many hostels. This one is among the best, comparable to Seattle hostels. Very clean, comfortable, everything is well-organized in the house, comfortable sleeping places. The owner is very hospitable! Right on the spot, they organized a tour to the volcano Ijen for me, for which I came here. The place is quiet, calm, on the river bank, but there are no mosquitoes. A dream of a perfectionist traveler!😃

Owner was amazing—so kind and helpful! She arranged a trip to Menjangan for us and even saved us with her aloe vera after we got sunburned. The accommodation is beautiful and spotless. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. I can only recommend this place—it was fantastic!

Everything! it is a real jewel, we liked it so much we extended our stay an additional week.
