The place was fantastic, it was amazing to wake up with the view from the window: forest, river, mountains and sounds of nature only! We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. The stuff was very good, the food was tasty and the house was beautiful

Such a wonderful stay! The family was so welcoming and kind. I actually felt like part of the family and wanted to stay for a long time. The food is all home cooked by the mum and was the best food I've had in Sri Lanka. Couldn't recommend high enough. I hope to be back. Thank you!

The hotel was amazing. We got welcomed very friendly. The manager Maha was super helpful with everything. We got a superior room, which was good. The bed was good, airco worked well and bathroom was clean. Very silent room as well The pool was nice, refreshing and surrounded with nice beds/couches. When we were hanging around, the manager came to us and asked if we would like to have a drink We have had dinner, which was really well served. The local food was good, not too spicy, had some nice wine and the manager made us very happy with his service again. The location of the dinner is super romantic in a garden (when its dry) The manager adviced us to try the sri lankan breakfast, so we did. And he was right! Really nice and more than enough food The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, in the jungle and close to a river. There are some nice views around the hotel, really silent

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting up country. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. All respect for the manager Sam, who does a great job here a true sample of excellent hospitality in my country. ~ Chamila ~

Warm and friendly despite the formal appearanc at first. The staff and the watefall are amazing. Rooms could be cleaned a bit better. The management is quite open to feedback. We were invited to a homecoming of a wedding and to a small personell party. It was very nice and warming. Thank you, we had a great time. Do swim in the levels of the waterfall here. It is amazing.
