We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at OwinRich during my trip to Godakawela, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Located just 2 km away from the bustling city center, OwinRich offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally comfortable, providing the ideal retreat after a long day of exploration. But what truly stood out was the attention to detail and the incredible value for money. The price I paid was an absolute steal considering the quality of service and amenities offered. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sheer joy on my kids' faces as they splashed around in the pool and explored the hotel grounds. The family-friendly atmosphere of OwinRich made our vacation truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They even arranged a safari to Udawalawe National Park for us at the best price possible, allowing us to marvel at Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife. Overall, I can't recommend OwinRich highly enough. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Very kind and welcoming people. Saman is an excellent guide and knows the forest very well. We saw a lot of animals including monkeys and rare snakes. His wife made us plenty of food and was always happy to assist us. And the view from the room is amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sinharaja Vini Villa. The location is beautiful next to the river and close to Sinharaja Forrest reserve. It's so peaceful, nice place to relax. The hosts are such a lovely family, very welcoming. All the family are involved in running the homestay. We also had dinner there, the portions are generous, and also beautiful fresh fruit juices. To walk in Sinharaja forest you need a guide as paths are not clearly marked, our host arranged a guide for the day hike, and was very kind as we arrived back late (we took ages with taking photos) and we were able to shower and freshen up, and had complimentary fruit juice before our onward journey. Our shoes got really muddy, and our host kindly washed them, and dried them for us. Also the accommodation can arrange you transport with good safe drivers. Would certainly recommend staying there, especially if you love a quiet time, nature and Forrest.

The location and the whole estate are a sanctuary of calmness. The rooms have a view of the rainforest. There is a space next to an 800-year-old tree for meditation or yoga. The estate contains native trees, animals, and eatable plants to explore. Stuff is always welcome to explain.
