Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The apartment was super clean, spacious, and very well maintained. We received clear and easy instructions for access before arrival, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. The quiet garden with shaded seating was a lovely place to relax. We were warmly greeted by the host, who took the time to show us around—his attention to detail was excellent. The location felt very safe, secure, and peaceful, yet still convenient. I had a fantastic stay at Vila Ana Marija. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with lovely trails for walking and enjoying the views. Seeing the fireflies near the river at night was a magical experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Owners were very welcoming. We arrived there pretty late in the evening, both father and son (he's also a local guide) were waiting for us and helped to park and settle in and fed us their locally produced sweet figs in sugar syrup. The view from the balcony was stunning. House itself is 300 years old, very charming in its own way and the owners have in many ways preserved its unikeness and history. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it.
