The villa is an old family home – very atmospheric, located in a great spot for a quick trip to the centre of Tirana. Of course, it has its drawbacks – it is not a new building and does not have modern furniture. But it has everything you need, and considering the price, location and beautiful garden, it is an excellent offer.

First of all, Genti was a very helpful and friendly host. He welcomed us at the Check-in. The hotel seems to be very new so the rooms are modern. Everything was very clean and comfortable. WiFi works perfect. I would recommend the hotel if you arrive very late or you have an early flight. Shuttle to/from the Airport will be arranged for free.

We had a delightful stay. Situated in the middle of Tirana, the Rognor Hotel has a pleasant garden with a pool. The hotel rooms are tastefully furnished. Our room had a little balcony that looked out over the garden (photo). Our bed was amazingly comfortable. We slept better at the hotel than at home. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

The most important parameter before booking this apartment was the kind comments about the owner (Mr Altin). I have seen that all were true. He is a very kind, nice man with good intentions. The building, kitchen, bathroom, bed, towels, linens, slippers were all very clean. There is complementary water dispenser, coffee, and tea. The kitchen is shared with others but it was very clean everytime I came. There are three adjacent rooms with separate bathrooms, and there is a 4th room upstairs, a penthouse (with high ceiling). If it is not booked I recommend the penthouse (with very little price difference). It is isolated from other three rooms. It is 10 min walk from the city center (Skanderberg square)

The location was perfect, the breakfast was great, and the staff was 100% helpful and welcoming. This place is also about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport, so it is perfect for anyone who needs a place close to the airport and town center.
