Modern. Super clean. Quiet location. Completely automated. However, staff was very communicative over my confusion on a small matter.

We arrived at 8pm and went into the restaurant and had an outstanding meal. The chef is first rate. All of the hotel/restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The breakfast was a lot more than a typical continental breakfast. The village is wonderful with so much interesting history. Well worth walking around.

Except for my major complaint below, this is a nice hotel. My Floor 3 room (#13) was comfortable and adequate. It lacked a refrigerator but the owner stored my perishables for me. It's a good value at 35€ (single, early May, very basic breakfast included). There is an elevator. Although the hotel says "No parking available", this is misleading as there is plenty of free street parking, even immediately adjacent. The bar and restaurant serves food and drink. La Tablada is only 2.5 km from access to the Santander-Valencia rail trail and is thus an excellent choice for hikers and bicyclists. I would not call this place charming or cozy, but there's nothing to complain about, except...
