The guesthouse is in such a beautiful location near forest and paddies and mountains, completely at one with nature. Our host, Charlie, as well as his wife and mother were the most kind and friendly hosts. After learning it was our honeymoon they got us a cake and balloons and candles to celebrate which was so thoughtful of them. The food there was wonderful - all home cooked with homegrown ingredients (you can see where they grow their cinnamon, pepper, vegetables, rice and so much more). Charlie also was an excellent tour guide as well, taking us to a water safari in Gal Oya, and up the nearby mountain (that was so stunning, you definitely should go. There are rice paddies, tea plantations and the most beautiful views in the region). He also took us to a nearby waterfall with natural pools that was stunning, and we were the only ones there. There are so many more things to do, we wished that we could have stayed longer, and would really like to come back. It's such an underrated region but will recommend to everybody to visit. The room itself was lovely and spacious with a separate living area and even a kitchen if we wanted to use it. We also loved the little treehouse to sit and enjoy the view and take in all the sounds of the nature around. Oh, and usually we would expect mosquitos when staying somewhere so rural but there were no mosquitoes at ALL. Neither of us wore repellent and we didn't get a single bite... That is unheard of for us. We recommend this place so highly - stay!

The location and the treatments from all the staff including the owner were amazingly helpful 👌 Food was excellent. I've been to so many places but this bungalow is something you can feel like your own home. Safe and quieter.

The location is great next tu bus station so you can lot of options where to go. The place is quiet, we had a room with a balcony and a bathroom, there were also towels. The staff was very very nice and helpful. Breakfast is also included in the price, which is really great and quite large. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous place, so modern and the view's amazing! Felt so comfy and relaxed after that long drive. Peaceful and quiet, but just a 15-minute stroll to Ella town. The host was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. She even packed us an awesome breakfast to go when we had to leave early for our train!

This place was more than nice! The lovely family, the views, the room and last but not least the breakfast. Everyday you get different types of fruit, juices and curry/dahl/pancakes. Everything is fresh from their own family farm. They also gave us a tour through their farm, what was really great!

They are very friendly and welcoming. The sight is just amazing. You can see the Monastery from the terrace while having breakfast there. The food is also amazing. Thank you for everything! It is really quiet and further from the city, but the city bus stops 3 min walk from the place.
