Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. Very friendly staff. Hotel provided clear instructions beforehand and though along busy streets, it has great soundproofing. Location is excellent, just across the old town. Room is spacious, clean with espresso coffee machine (a big plus) and bed super comfortable. Highly recommend.

We were able to leave our bags early before check-in as well as store them longer after check-out. I would definitely stay again and also recommend it to others.
