The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Our host Fernando made sure we had everything covered and organized daily tours to any destinations (Illinizas, Cotopaxi Park etc.) with his guides. A wonderful place to stay along the quilotoa loop trek. The staff was very friendly, the food was DELICIOUS, the yoga room had incredible views and good vibes, and the sauna room was invigorating. I would recommend this hostel to everyone!

There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling nearby. Really comfortable, cosy room. Real fire in room was a treat! Good quality, homemade food. Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
