Also nicely located to surrounding attractions within 1/2 hr - 1 hr driving distance. Room size was perfect to rest after a long day of hiking and exploring.

Amazing place! A truly relaxing and peaceful stay. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. We really enjoyed the food — both the breakfast and dinner options were delicious and nicely presented. We also visited the wine bar and the English bar — both had a lovely atmosphere. One of the highlights was the wellness area. We were lucky to be there when it wasn’t crowded, so we could fully enjoy the swimming pool and all the saunas in peace. Would definitely recommend for a calm and rejuvenating getaway!

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. Mostly everything. We knew this hotel from 40 years ago when my grandparents stayed there. It was a fancy hotel back then and although it aged, they managed to revamp it in a way that it is a very good value for money. The wellness section has so much variety we could spend the whole day there. Room is spacious and comfortable. Other facilities like kids club and bowling are great addition for families with kids. Location is fantastic, all the main hiking routes pass by the hotel, we didn't even take the car out most days.

The apartments come with a satellite TV, a safe and a bathroom with a hairdryer. We liked Everything. The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location is perfect! Exactly 1 min walk from the train station 😊 The kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor play areas. Private wellness was great.
