Wycliffˋs Eco Resort is a recently renovated villa in Kabale, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. The property has sea and mountain views. There is a restaurant serving African cuisine, and free private parking is available. The property is located in an idyllic setting just on the shore of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the property is breathtaking. The moment you arrive at the Villa you realize how quiet and peaceful it is. The mattress was new and comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Wycliffe the owner and his family will make sure you feel at home, he helped me even when I was sick in the stomach, he took me to the clinic and waited there with me until I was done. The property is around 8 km from Kabale town and there is a private motorcycle taxi service on demand for 20000 shillings, both ways. There are many activities to be done including kayaking and visiting the local communities provided by Wycliffe. Also they prepare delicious meals at the Villa. One thing that I appreciated is Wycliffes effort to help the local communities. Some of the revenues of the Villa go to the poorest. Thank you so much for helping me out in time of need 💕

At the hotel, rooms come with a balcony with a mountain view. An absolutely beautiful location, very peaceful. The staff were incredible and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. From 'Rasta Man' who drove the boat and got us to be where we needed to be, even in the early hours or late at night without complaint, to the chef who made us lovely meals, again to our schedule, the lovely ladies who served our food and cleaned our rooms, the maintainence guy on hand for any tiny hitch, to the boss man Edward, who kept in touch with us all week to assist us in any way he and his team could. Can't recommend highly enough

Boasting a private beach area, a garden, and a terrace, Byoona Amagara at Lake Bunyonyi features accommodation in Kabale with free WiFi and mountain views. The property has lake views. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Everything was beyond perfect. I love the seclusion of the island. The first highlight is the ride to the boat pier and the boat ride to the island through Lake Bunyonyi. The welcome by the staff is warm and honest. The property is fully self-sustaining, so if you're not a fan of outdoor latrines, be prepared ;) Hot showers are available but need about an hour preparation time. The staff really goes out of their way to accommodate all your wishes and make you feel right at home. I recommend staying in their geo domes as it is an experience you will never forget. The menu at their "canteen" is a dream for vegetarians. Just the perfect place to relax and switch off for a few days. They organize tours to other islands as well, which I didn't try as I just wanted to relax for a few days before heading to the hustling streets of Kampala. They also organized a gorilla track for me in Bwindi at very short notice, which they made into the perfect day and memorable experience. Thanks again for everything 🙏

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. We have been there 3 nights. We changed a room in the middle ( an upgrade ) both rooms were great ( number 7 was the best). The hotel has an amazing view, a serine environment with nice sitting areas where you can sit and eat/ have a drink in front of the view. Service was excellent and everybody were so nice and helpfull.We took the hotel kayaks to explore the lake (free for guest's use).

The guest house offers mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the food , tasty and well-prepared. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place!
