Absolutely love this place! The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, super clean and great outdoor area. Loved the breakfast with the local produce and home made cakes! Very nice hotel in the heart of Durres. The hotel is in a busy area, but the room was quiet. We had a room on the 3rd floor and the view was very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and plenty. Parking is not easy, but we found an empty spot in front of the hotel entrance eventually. Great experience.

Everything, value money is very affordable for that area, newly renovated hotel and very near to everything all walkable to amphitheater and Venetian tower. The breakfast is very good and the management hospitality is so outstanding. They even assist us for our friend proposal for free!! Salute to this guy very kind and hardworking. Repeated everyday... 7/10 Location Near the beach. Near the main drag for restaurants and bars. Near mini markets Beach Beach towels.... €10 deposit Private beach... Sun beds and parasol. Just need letter from reception You can hire bikes or electric scooters for €10 = 3 hrs Not a 4 star European but still a very good hotel

The location is perfect and its near to all. It is also very easy to locate. They have spacious parking. Dining hall is big. Lounge is big too. My room is perfect Sea View. I never closed my door in balcony 24 hours I breath sea breeze and hear the waves. Beds and linens are so clean. Housekeeping Team are doing their job perfectly. Staff are kind. Angel the Reception on duty when I check in. I actually arrived so early but he allows me already to check and go my room.

We met wonderful hosts and staff at Dollari Hotel. Extremely friendly and always available for any questions. The food in the restaurant is phenomenal as is the staff. A large selection of food where you won't be able to find fault. When that good food is served by smiling staff who speak excellent English and Italian, you cannot leave this hotel/restaurant without a smile on your face. I'm sure that we will meet them again.

The entire hotel is oriented towards the Kruje old historical part of town, from our room to the breakfast area, it's stunning. Check in was fast. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast options were good and plentiful. Very food filter coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating. Private parking directly across from the hotel. Air conditioning worked nicely. Rooftop pool and bar area was very nice also.

Excellent beach hotel. Although it was built in 1957, it was renovated, and become very modern hotel . Locating on the beautiful beach of Dures, wirh great sea view from our room,, very nice and big outdoor swimming pool , a nice small indoor pool with a nice spa.Breakfast is fantastic, with very reach boffet, eggs and coffee stations and very friendly and helpful staff .

My family and I were here from June 6 to 8, 2025. The hotel is excellent, directly on the beach, the beach is great, the sun loungers on the beach are free, the entire hotel, the rooms, the restaurant and the beach are covered with excellent wifi, the breakfast was great, a large selection of products, the staff was very pleasant and the hotel was very clean.

Everyone in the staff of the hotel was super nice. We were very well welcomed when we first checked in. It was the same thing during the whole stay, no matter if it was a new person we encountered at the reception or in the hotel, everyone was friendly and was going above and beyond for us. On top of that the room was beautiful and the view was perfect.

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

If you are not fussy about rural life, this is a good opportunity to get to know the real Albanian countryside. The family is very welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and willing to help you every step of the way. The cooking facilities at the property were very good. The location is great for getting around.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.
