Train station is across the road, however trains run so quietly that there was no noise at all. Train to city centre is 11min, airport less than 30 min, it made the travel effortless and very pleasant.

We were here for the Rapperswil Ironman 70.3. The location was great. Just a short walk or train ride into Rapperswil. Rapperswil was wonderful to walk around with shops and restaurants. Most importantly the staff here was wonderful. We had to ship a bike to the hotel which Eva (manager) held in her office until we arrived. Eva was also extremely helpful when Uber decided to not show up (even though Uber had confirmed pickup an hour before). Eva found us a taxi and we made it to the airport in plenty of time.
I highly recommend this property.

Very clean - cleaner twice per week including bed turn down. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Hotel manager Sabrina on WhatsApp and quickly replied to any questions or issues. Easy check in and two click check out online. Separate to hotel but in the basement is a super Italian restaurant, Assaggio. Great food and lovely staff. Ate there several times during my 32 day stay. Super hotel. Heartily recommend. Just one note - it is a business hotel so you cannot register that address with Feusisberg Gemeinde for Swiss registration!

Amazing location. Our special requests about the room were all fulfilled. Room clean, quiet and comfortable.
Great staff, helpful and professional. Good breakfast included and very friendly staff at our service and paying attention that the buffet was taken care in a clean way. Our stay was 1 night but will come back for longer as soon there is a chance.

Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around. It has a quaint centre and a beautiful waterfront. Easy travel into Zurich by train. Easy travel to mountains and skiing by train or car.
Good supermarkets with good opening hours.
We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. You can even swim in Lake Zurich by walking down to the waterside at various points.

Rapperswil-Jona is an absolutely beautifully pretty little historical town with everything you need. It has an abundance of restaurants of all types, some in tiny little cobbled back streets and many overlooking the lake. The best thing we found during our stay was the superb lake swimming area. There are purpose built changing rooms, life guards, a café, sun-decks, showers and a large protected area of the lake for swimming, plus a couple of floating deck-islands if you fancy a bit of on water relaxing. We swam every morning before breakfast, which was fabulous and really a pleasure once you got in the water. You can walk to the swimming area up through the castle.

Meilen is a pleasant lakeside place with a grassy lido, next to Zurichsee (Lake Zurich). It has a mainline train station and is mid-way between Zurich and Rapperswil - the latter being a nice lake-side place to visit with mediaeval architecture and plenty of restaurants. It also has a couple of ferry options for getting across the lake to, for example, the Lindt Home of Chocolate Musuem/Factory. Quiet place.
