Very nice small scale hotel very close to the beach and cycling routes through Sankt Peter and surroundings. You get tickets which grant you free access to the beaches and other facilities in Sankt Peter. The room (grand family suite) was amazing: very large room with fully equipped and modern bathroom, even with seating area and fridge. We didn’t used the option to have breakfast in the hotel.

The staff made sure to make us feel very comfortable and took care of us and our baby. They even gave our baby a little snack! 🛌 The bed was awesome. Nothing to complain there.     Cuxhaven is a lovely beach town if one wants to stroll and relax. There are just so many walking and hiking trails along the coast and in wildlife parks throughout the area. the city itself is really pretty with lovely roads, beautiful homes, clean neighborhoods and a very delightful city center. the Kugel bake, Alte Liebe, Dicke Berta, Duhnen Strand, Schloss Ritzebüttel were really pleasant to visit. Food and views at the Beach House were just fantastic!

    Sea front and beach. It's the North Sea though so tends to be windy and big waves. Lots to enjoy in the rest of the island, picturesque sand dunes and heathland, little ports List and Hornum. Nice museums in Keitum.

    Buesum was a nice town, typical German seaside town, with a lot of pedestrianised streets and places to eat, very quiet from a traffic point of view, and a long promenade with beach huts and expanses of sand at low tide.

    I spent 9 weeks in Wilhelmshaven in 2025, over the course of six months. The harbor area is excellent and has historic bridges, the Naval Museum, waterfront, aquarium and several great bars / restaurants.

    It is not acceptual that you can't use the car outside the hotel although we have booked a parking lot in the yard. The time in the hotel I am a resident and I should be allowed to use my car. That has not been to told to me before the booking.

    Our visit to Emden was only overnight.

    Our visit to Emden was only overnight. We stayed near the city center on a small yet picturesque canal and walked to dinner easily. I recommend it as a stopover. There were a few things to see and do but we did not have the time.

    The beach is incredible. Really.

    The beach is incredible. Really. The restaurants are ridiculously expensive and the offer is very narrow. Curry worst €10.50! Simple salads €18.50. And if you consider that Fish Sandwiches are food you’re in luck, because that is really about it. That and Italian food. The only "good" meal I had was down on the beach at Arche Noah and it was pasta, of course. The "Baths" are a bit thin on the ground. Not a spa at all. Not even close. But something to do when it is raining, though you may have to wait 2 hours to get in.

    I recommend it to All, but of course it depends what you want to do or what you are interested. I love hiking/tracking and doing sports. If someone loves just lying on the beach it may not be perfect or not perfect in this time of the year. I am saying it must be visited at once.
