- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,660 reviewsI recently had the pleasure of staying at TRH Tirant Playa in Menorca, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel’s location, right by the beautiful beach, was simply breathtaking. The rooms at TRH Tirant Playa were spacious, clean. The comfortable beds ensured a good night’s sleep, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. The stunning views from the balcony added a touch of tranquility to my stay. One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their knowledge of the area helped me make the most of my time in Menorca, recommending fantastic local attractions and restaurants. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I also appreciated the variety and quality of the dining options available on-site. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes. TRH Tirant Playa’s commitment to cleanliness and hygiene was evident throughout my stay, providing me with a sense of comfort and peace of mind. Overall, my experience at TRH Tirant Playa was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Menorca. The combination of stunning location, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and outstanding amenities makes it the perfect choice for a memorable vacation.Guest review byAleksandrFinland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 739 reviewsI really loved the rather unique design of the hotel, and the attitude of the staff at reception, relaxed and friendly but also very professional and efficient and always ready to help. Everything worked well and was very clean. The grounds are very green and neat with lots of flowering oleanders and other plants and very well looked after. Very nice toiletries provided in the room. The swimming pool is big enough to swim and the water had a nice temperature. The hotel is in a quiet spot and in 5 min walk from the sea, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The restaurant was great both for breakfast and dinner, the dinner I had was exceptional, they even had even some local wines from Formentera. Not to be missed!Guest review byIrinaSwitzerland
- From US$208.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,023 reviewsIt is a fantastic location. It was our second day. The hotel is beautiful with amazing views. The beach is literally at the frontdoor and one can walk down to the pitch directly from the hotel. As is the case everwhere, the beach is public so a lot busier on weekend with more local visitors. However, it is a lovely sandy beach. The breakfast is great as is the general service. Towncentre is a short ride away. The only issue is that this time it was very expensive but we booked late in high season and they were nearly sold out. hopefully next time it would cost this much!Guest review byKhashayarGermany

Palma is one of the most beautiful cities to visit.
Palma is one of the most beautiful cities to visit. Lots to see and do. Superb food markets, restaurants and bars. Excellent range of shops. Great beaches with beautiful clear water to swim safely in. You can enjoy lots of tapas at reasonable prices or eat in high end restaurants as there is something to suit everyone’s budget. Mallorcan cuisine is superb with delicious Mediterranean menus on offer everywhere.Guest review byDawnUnited Kingdom - 10

Playa de Palma offers calm, shallow waters—perfect for children to play safely. In September, the weather is still warm and sunny, but the beach is pleasantly uncrowded. A peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the sea with the whole family!Guest review byYara DalsucoMozambique - 10

I love the area, if you avoid the beach front there are a few lovely Spanish restaurants about, it's mainly catered for Germans along the front . Feels safe and very friendly in the general area. Market days are Tuesday and Wednesday for food and Thursdays for the main market. Plenty of shops around the area, the buses are easy to use and there's a red train that runs along the front, the Marina has a lovely restaurant that has comfy sofas right on the beachGuest review byMichelleUnited Kingdom - 10

Lovely old town with numerous bars and restaurants. Many shops and boutiques to discover when wondering through the streets. Compact and easy to discover on foot - albeit quite hilly with steps in quite a few places.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 10
Been returning a few times.
Been returning a few times. I always stay at the end of the bay as a solo traveller and get best both worlds. Great bus service to the airport all the way for just four euro. Lovely coastline walk around the bay well past marina and Cafe Mambo. Try some food at Skinny Kitchen. Simple cannot recommend O Beach enough, be prepared for an epic time. Pricey yes but worth it. Lockers available. I booked a tour online that included O Beach and Eden!!Guest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Staying in Playa d'en Bossa is great if your idea is to go clubbing and bars at night. It makes it easier to everything walking distance. However, if your trip also is for relaxing purposes or with family, I would rather choose another area of Ibiza and less expensive as well.Guest review byAngelaNetherlands - 6.0
Honestly don't get why you'd come here.
Honestly don't get why you'd come here. The beach was nice, the bars were alright but you're on a Spanish island and this town has no Spanish in it. Its an English town with loads of Germans down the road in Arenal. Come here if you want to be overcharged on poor hotels, see cockroaches roaming the streets, be served overpriced cocktails by English staff. Don't come here if you want a true Spanish trip. For that I'd recommend Palma itself or somewhere in the north of the island.Guest review byJoshUnited Kingdom - 10

Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.Guest review byStefanSerbia - 10
