From the moment we arrived, Veronica's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our stay was perfect truly stood out. Veronica went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing us with an excellent room and recommendations for local attractions and dining options. She was always available to assist with any requests, no matter how big or small, and did so with a genuine smile. Her knowledge of the area and her passion for hospitality were evident in every interaction. Veronica's efforts made our stay not only comfortable but memorable. We left the GHM Monachil Hotel feeling refreshed and grateful for her outstanding service. Thank you, Veronica, for creating the perfect stay for us. - From US$180.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 646 reviewsI had an amazing experience at this hotel. The room was not only clean but also beautifully decorated with a unique style. The staff went above and beyond, providing exceptional service from every single member, especially José Manuel the waiter, whose kindness and professionalism were superb. The hotel's surroundings offered stunning scenery and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, perfect for rest and relaxation in the midst of nature, far from the city. Plus, the convenience of nearby hiking options without needing to use the car was a delightful bonus. And let's not forget the food – the quality and quantity were excellent, making dinner well worth the price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch experience.Guest review byGabrielArgentina
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 505 reviewsThe perfect place to wake up and go on an adventure early. It is well situated with views of the nearby mountains and close to the start of the most famous treks. You can hear the bird sing, and a nearby mule occasionally snorts, reminding you that you are no longer in the bustling cities. The place feels rustic, there are cat cubs roaming the vicinity, and the owner himself gets your breakfast on the table. They have crystal glasses in the room, perfect if you intend to drink something without going out with your friends. If you prefer going out, the city has some cool places to go as well. The hotel's common room downstairs was always full of adventurers, talking about their expeditions to the mountain, past and future.Guest review byalexandreBrazil
- From US$83.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,058 reviewsStaff are very pleasant and helpful, allowed us to check in early, nothing is too much trouble. Beds are super comfortable and rooms basic and cosy, well equipped with lots of hot water. Views from the terrace are amazing! Restaurant is very pleasant with a great breakfast and plenty of variety. Lunch and evening meal menus are nice and great prices. Overall a great budget place, independent place to stay, close to the ski station with plenty of parking too. We will definitely stay again and really feel that we have found a little gem . The most perfect place I have ever stayed!!
The most perfect place I have ever stayed!! I almost don't want to write a review because everyone will want to go! :) This was my second time here, and it has become my sanctuary and my happy place, I plan to return every year if possible. The gourmet breakfast is delicious, with different options available every morning, fresh juices, fresh fruit, and excellent coffee! Dinner is fabulous with excellent service, tasty Michelin level food, beyond expectation! The place itself is perched up on top of the hill very close to a beautiful hiking trail called 'Monachil Los Cahorros' - (anyone can do this trail whether you want to do a shorter or longer route). The hike has hanging bridges, caves, streams, uphill and downhill routes! The most tranquil and beautiful spot you will ever visit, whether its a solo trip like me or with family, friends or a loved one! The most amazing views from the hotel (which is a boutique sustainable hotel) - The bed was an absolute dream, and all the rooms are perfect, with beautiful detail!Guest review byKhalidaUnited Kingdom - 10

We visited and skied in Pradollano during peak season. It was a very enjoyable and interesting experience, although there was not a great deal of snow during our visit we still managed to enjoy our time there during the weekdays. The weekends look particularly busy so if you don’t like a very crowded ski field might be best to avoid the weekends.Guest review bychristineAustralia - 10

Our first day ( arriving ) to Cenes de la Vega we dined at the hotel and no regrets, very good food and service, good atmosphere and surrounding area, mountains view, private parking and the staff was amazing. We spent our day 2 starting at 10.00 AM, at Alhambra, Generalife, Nasrid Palaces and 5 hours later Cathedral of Granada, must to see. After the Granada tour, we went down to the Cathedral of Granada and the rest of the day in the old centre visiting tapas bars, cafés and dinner before we turned back to our hotel.Guest review bySimbuz1962Iceland - 10

If you are looking for a somewhat rustic village, this is for you. Quiet and quaint! The beautiful mountain location is great for hiking and relaxation. The local road to get up to the ski area is an uphill slog of narrow, curves, sometimes a one lane road, hairpin turns. In wet weather it is not a good choice. The apartment is clean, some of the furniture looks old, but it is not described as a luxury stay, so this was expected.Guest review byLisaPortugal - 8.0

Be careful driving through the narrow, winding streets. some of them get narrower as you go and you may have a hard time turning around. The locals are friendly and helpful even if they don't speak English. So are the Police. They arrived quickly and got our car out of a tight alley/street.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10

I only picked La Zubia because it was on my way between Malaga and Valencia. I hade landed the same day after a night flight. Narrow streets are a bit difficult to drive through when you are very tired and sleepy. Maybe the town has something to offer, but I had no chance to do so.Guest review byNabilCanada - 8.0
