It was crowded.

It's simply wonderful.
It's simply wonderful. The town is just the right size, not too big yet not too small. All the facilities are within walking distance. There are lots of bars, reataurants and shops, including supermarkets. The beach is great, too. It's not overcrowded. Firstly, Grimaud and Port of Grimaud are two different settlements and both are worth visiting. The views of the bay from Grimaud fortress are stunning and the village itself is very beautiful. What I love the most about the beautiful village of La Croix...
What I love the most about the beautiful village of La Croix-Valmer is the vibes. Local, loving people, quiet, but not so quiet, especially in the center where we can have public beaches, pizza at ''Super Pizza Restaurant'' and any other restaurants, Boulangerie and ''Spar'' Supermarkt. Also, we can hike (my partner and I went for a hike) from Plage l'Escalet to Plage Gigaro. It was so hot in the summer, but we could always have a skin dip and swim along the way. The breathtaking panorama along the way was absolutely worth it!! Finally, we did wine testing (Dégustation de Vins) at Domaine Tropez. Including delicious pastries & bread for the morning.Cycle paths alongside the coast road. The port of Gassin has a very large harbour with lots of super yachts. There are several restaurants facing the harbour. Visiting St Tropez anytime is fabulous but during the Fetes des Voiles is something sensational! The atmosphere is electric, people are generally sooo cool and inclusive and the whole place just hums. People are having loads of fun everywhere but you don’t tend to see out of control drunks anywhere. If you are sitting on the fence and not sure about whether St Tropez is for you, go!
