- From US$176.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 383 reviewsWhat a brilliant stay in a brilliant little town. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and breakfast was lovely. I ended up staying across the road in their sister location the Rising Sun, because they didn't want to make me walk all the way there and back, so sweet that they were so thoughtful, even though I wouldnt have minded! A building from the 1300s, what an experience!Guest review byElise :)Netherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 178 reviewsWe liked the attention paid to details and the hospitality and care shown by Robert and Richard who take great pride in their establishment and in their hosting of guests who stay here. It was indeed a luxury B & B experience for us and we loved the cleanliness of the room , the bathroom as well as the comfortable bed and soft towels. Breakfast porridge was also the best!Guest review byShankarSingapore

Lynton and lynmouth are just beautiful places to visit.
Lynton and lynmouth are just beautiful places to visit. Plenty of great pubs and places to eat set in a very picturesque environment. The cliff railway was interesting to ride on and the Exmoor visitors centre was very informative. The valley of rocks was amazing to visit.Guest review byBob ThorntonUnited Kingdom - 10

Been going to Lynmouth for soooo many years (40 in total) it holds many special memories 🙏🏻 we love the quaintness of Lynmouth, and however busy it gets, it never feels too noisy- love the walks, the coffeeshackbythesea, the Esplanade fish & chip shop, the views, the cliff railway which takes you to Lynton’s shops and cafes. I will always need to visit to recharge my batteries a few times a year - a little piece of nostalgia 🙏🏻❤️Guest review byWooUnited Kingdom - 6.0

A picturesque area despite the fact it rained continually throughout the time we spent there. The village of Porlock is very characterful and historic. Whatever the weather, Exmoor always has something to offer.Guest review byCathyUnited Kingdom - 10

Really lovely, warm and welcoming little town that felt alive and "lived in". Lots of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs to suit every taste. There is a beautiful community owned and maintained garden and separate children's playground. The Castle is extremely interesting and you can fill a whole day exploring it and its surrounding buildings (and the National Trust cafe on site). The Watermill is really worth a visit. Lovely church too. Short walk to Dunster beach and station for the West Somerset Railway which runs steam trains regularly from Minehead to Bishops Lydiard. Walks in the surrounding countryside from the village.Guest review byTimUnited Kingdom - 10

Dulverton is a wonderful small town located in the middle of some beautiful countryside. There are all the shops you need with coffee shops, a fish and chip restaurant/takeaway and more. There are many car parks if you cannot find on street parking. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe and there are lots of walks around the town to take a stroll with or without a dog. The river runs through Dulverton and there is a small area where you can sit and relax. It is very accessible to the moor and coast although if you are in a larger vehicle/camper-van, the roads are narrower. It can rain - and it did! I just enjoyed being back home and visiting friends and the old haunts. Just remember to pack proper footwear and a mac!Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Small village but with 2 pubs with rooms, large common area, general shop and a tack store selling a surprising range of goods. There's also a garage, in case.the car needs it and a number of pleasant walks radiate from the village.Guest review byPhilUnited Kingdom - 10

We booked the accommodation for ourselves and our daughter and son in law. As soon as we arrived the place and area looked wonderful. The accommodation is of a high standard with everything you need and it’s central to areas you would like to visit ie watersmeet, Lynmouth , Minehead. We were not that far away from Exmoor which was lovely to drive through and stop to take photos, seeing the wildlife was the added bonus. Where the accommodation was the Exmoor Inn offered food and drink, plus dogs are welcome. We were there the first night and had a lovely meal, the staff were very attentive and professional. We will definitely be backGuest review byJulietUnited Kingdom - 10

Beautiful location, loved the river and listening to the water at night, plenty of lovely walks, used the cliff railway up to Lynton a bit expensive as cannot purchase return tickets, we travelled easily to many locations, nice shops in lynmouth, but you cannot purchase food essentials, Lynton has 2 shops for food essentials but expensive, we travelled to the supermarket or you can do online saw plenty of delivery vans, eating out in lynmouth advise book in advance .Guest review byDENTON
