We stayed for 3 nights - 4 adults and 3 young kids and we had a wonderfull vacation. The place is amazing. The house was big, clean and had everything you need for a long stay - big livingroom, long big table, full kithcen with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and showers, washing maching and also a sauna and a balcony. The 3 bedrooms were big and comfortable. The place has free pool, gym and souna which is great, especially when you are with kids. Also great fields and grass for the kids to play. Wifi was good and ofcourse free parking. Location is also great near Avimor, easy base to travel around.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The place was so peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxation. The hospitality was outstanding — we truly felt welcomed. There was also a food truck nearby serving halal burgers, which were incredibly delicious! The jacuzzi was a great touch; the water was hot and ready at all times. Breakfast was a bit limited, but everything we tried was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended for a calm and cozy getaway!

Ooh boy was this one a pleasant surprise in Inverness. Another on the fly booking on our road trip, only to end up staying in what amounted to a surprisingly luxurious room above a 10/10 restaurant. Do try the lamb and the slow cooked beef dishes, they're finger licking good - and don't forget to try the whisky! We took some home too, it was that good.

Fort William is a lovely little town with a beautiful Loch, it is a bit touristy for my liking but there are so many wonderful things to do in or near by that it is well worth a stay here. The museum in the town is a treat, Inverlochy castle is a little treasure. The Nevis range cable car is a must, the views at the top are breathtaking and not to be missed. Also nearby is The Glenfinnan monument & viaduct, again absolutely beautiful views & an absolute must. There is more but we had a limited time.

Great walks and hikes. We are an older couple and did the Fairy Pools, the Old Man of Storr, and Scorrybraec circular loop from Portree. We also did a wildlife cruise which was fun and saw eagles, seals and dolphins. Visited historic Dunvegan castle We loved a dinner we had at the Dulce and Rose restaurant at The Bosville Hotel in Portree. There were 2 coops where we shopped for food. There was so much more to do but sadly ran out of time.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.

Thurso still feels a generally friendly town.

Thurso still feels a generally friendly town. The Visitors Centre was excellent, very helpful friendly staff, with advice, directions and postcards. The beach is lovely, and the castle very picturesque, though I have no idea if you can go round it as it is on the opposite side of a long inlet and I wasn't about to walk all the way round there on the off-chance. Good amount of shops, and seemingly banks still in the town. YNot offers expensive but good quality food. If you want a walk, or have a car, the Ferry Inn in Scrabster is a great place to eat too.

I found Kyle of Lochalsh really friendly. The hotel I stayed in was amazing and the staff ultra helpful. The cafe I had baked potato, chicken mayo and cheese in was really nice and friendly, the food amazing. The gift shop beginning with O was lovely and I bought a couple of necessities for the rest of my holiday (scarf and beanie). The Islanders pub in the evening was really fun atmosphere and a good mix of locals and tourists.
