Stunning part of the UK with something for everyone, whether it be history, nature, good food and/or amenities. I hiked the full length of the hills along every ridge from End Hill and returned via the woods. In all it was 11.5 miles from and back to my accommodation. There are a couple of places with WC facilities and pit-stops. Breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. I had the pleasure of witnessing sheep-shearing by local friendly farmers who assisted me on my route. The previous day I did a circular around British Camp Iron Age Fort. Good parking and another beautiful walk.

A fabulous old historic hotel centrally located in Broadway with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was of good size and the bed very comfortable and large. The decor of the room needs an upgrade in our opinion, along with the bathroom modernising. The Dining Room, bar area and assorted snug reception rooms are quite amazing and in keeping with the history of this beautiful 600 year old coaching inn. One of our disappointments was the James Martin Grill restaurant, we were probably expecting much higher standards for our dinner which didn't appear. We enjoyed our first evening bar meal in the Hunter bar which is attached to the hotel, possibly more. The pool and spa were absolutely delightful although one point to note was to be asked for a discretionary 12.5% service charge on top of the treatment prices (the treatments themselves were standard given that their descriptions in the marketing online would make you think otherwise) which are higher than average and increase at the weekend. It was a very special treat for us and all in all a great stay.

Droitwich is a small town so does not have a lot to offer. Every evening I used to walk in Vines Park alongside the canal, a most enjoyable walk. There are plenty of parking facilities in Droitwich although I did not use them since the hotel was very near the centre.

Perfectly situated for a stop over during a long drive. It would also be ideal for someone wanting to visit the surrounding towns and villages. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's situated on the services but in a quiet area away from the service building which makes it perfect.
