Ideally located (in the center of Oia, you can walk everywhere), with a lovely staff who recommend great places to visit (far from tourist traps). They also offer a shuttle service to the airport or port, which is more efficient and cheaper than taxis. Don’t hesitate to ask them.
You won’t find a better value for money anywhere else.
We even chose to stay at this hotel again on our way back, even though we initially wanted to explore another part of the island.
We got a different room this time, which was even better than the previous one.

A Greek Island Dream
Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.
High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.
Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.
Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

The location of the hotel with a view of the Caldera is extremely excellent. Picturesque and amazing views from the rooms! Responsive, polite, attentive excellent staff, both at the reception, and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. They meet with a smile and offer cool drinks to quench their thirst. They help in solving any issues. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The bathrooms are clean and have very nice and high-quality hygiene and body care products!
Breakfasts are very tasty and filling! Thank the chef! Also, all hotel guests receive a compliment from the hotel (delicious drinks). There is an opportunity to order a dinner, and even a romantic one, in the room or on the terrace of the new restaurant with beautiful views of the sea, the island itself and the volcano, watching the incredible colors of the sunset! Thank you to the hotel administration and staff for their professionalism and comfort, courtesy and good attitude!

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. The hotel is a gem right on the beach, which might be the best beach on the island, with its pristine black sand and crystal-clear dark blue water. The large, beautiful pool only adds to the sense of luxury and relaxation. Every detail in this hotel is thoughtfully designed, enhancing its overall charm and elegance.
Breakfast was a highlight as well - an exceptional culinary experience that matched the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. Every meal was a delight, reflecting the hotel’s dedication to quality.
The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, taking care of us with such attention and warmth. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel completely relaxed and cared for, which is something we’ll remember for a long time.
This is easily one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at, and we can’t wait to come back.

In August we stayed in Grace Hotel and what an amazing experience it was in this world-class boutique hotel! We enjoyed our stay to the fullest thanks to wonderful staff, in particular Silvia and Georges who took great care of us all the time! Lazy mornings with tasting-like menu paired with some bubbles, chilling by the infinity pool and enjoying spectacular view is exactly what we needed from Santorini!

We had a beatiful stay in the end of September. The room was exceptional, equipped with all that you need to make your stay unforgetable. Breakfast was delicious and if you wish it can be served in the room, but we preferred to have it at the restaurant because the view from it was amazing.
Ladies (Apostolia and Mary) from reception were so helpful and did all of their best to make our stay perfect.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

We put a lot of thought into the location. We deemed Oia too busy and crowded and Fira as possibly too noisy. Imeroviglia was our ultimate choice and it turned out to be the right one; the best views, great places to stay, delicious restaurants nearby. We would recommend it to anyone who wanted a second (or first) honeymoon. It was that magical.

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.
