We loved the hotel’s location—it’s right in the city center! We were also happy to see that they have good accessibility for people with disabilities, which is not something we see often. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions about Volos, including where to go and what to see. They even upgraded our rooms, so we got balconies, which was a nice surprise! The room was super clean, well-equipped, and had some great extras. It’s the first hotel we’ve stayed at that offers bathrobes instead of just towels, and the quality was amazing! The bed was also very comfortable. Overall, a great stay, and we’d definitely come back!

Everything was perfect - a nice hostess, the hotel's location next to the road leading to the monasteries, there were many restaurants around. The view from the window was amazing, the room had everything you could need: bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Pleasant place to stay with breathtaking view. They cleaned everything in the morning, kept the room comfortable. The staff really helped us when we need to call taxi when we heard the trains were not in service and gave many informations about Meteora when we just arrived. I appreciated them. What an excellent place to choose for a short or a long stay in Pelion! We are very happy to have stayed there for a long weekend at the end of the summer. The hotel has been recently renovated, so, everything is new and of top quality. It is located under the shade of the beautiful huge trees in the village square. Waking up and being surrounded by these beautiful trees offered us great and positive energy! We booked and stayed in the family deluxe room which was spacious and it also had a large sofa and a studying desk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way in order to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mr Christos, thank you mrs Lili and all the rest of the staff. We were offered freshly made home made plum jam as a special treat! Whatever was offered in the breakfast area, it was of excellent quality. Their priority was to offer seasonal local fruits. We were lucky enough to be there and taste the first local apples of the season. Two different types of local homemade pies were on offer every day in the breakfast buffet. Lili prepared traditional loukoumades, which were served with the famous local honey of Pelion. Besides, coffee was included in the price, whereas, it is common practice to be charged extra for hot drinks at breakfast time, in other hotels imin Pelion. The atmosphere in this small traditional hotel is friendly and relaxing. The top quality bed linen and mattresses ensured that we slept very well. Also, the hotel has a centrally installed heating and cooling system. However, the trees in the square offered sufficient shade and coolness, therefore, we didn’t need to use the cooling system in August. We would love to visit this beautiful hotel in winter and experience staying there again. Once again, thank you for your hospitality!🙏

We were pleasantly surprised with a completely unexpected and beautiful upgrade to the Nest Infinity room with a hot tub. Staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating! The selection of different areas and beaches in the resort is unmatched - you can watch both - sunrise and sunset from the beaches reached by foot or a complementary buggy. Food and coffee were great. Housekeeping and hot tub cleaning were done exemplary well! Our chihuahua dog travelling with us also had one of the best times of her life!

Can’t recommend enough The views from the hotel are some of the best in the world, would never get bored of them. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean with a great pool area and plenty of sunbeds. The staff are amazing, so happy, friendly and attentive. The room was kept clean and stocked including fresh towels every day. The breakfast was a joy everyday, great selection of freshly baked items, eaten in a stunning location. An absolute gem 💎

Very friendly staff helped us with a lot of information and requests, good and varied breakfast, although staying 7 days, the food is similar. Cleaning was done daily, towels changed. The hotel is located on a sloping street, very quiet, but close to the central area of the village which we were able to visit easily. The bar is very well stocked, and the desserts were very good. Opposite the hotel is a small restaurant that you must try

a superb location, extremely clean, made for families and children. With a lot of activities and spaces to play (swiming pool, mini-golf, football, tennis, volleyball, ping-pong, chess, scuba, etc.), with direct access to the beach, an extremely professional, extremely pleasant staff who will help you immediately, but above all a place where the seascape combines with everything you could want to find in Greece.

I am very happy with where I stayed - it was quiet and on the edge of town. The tour bus dropped me off and collected me. However, it might be better to stay in town so one can more easily explore and choose a restaurant and/or cafe. The towns are picturesque and well worth the visit, even for a short 2-day, 1 night stay. The monasteries and surrounding hills are the jewel in the crown.

Volos is a really nice and vibrant city.

Volos is a really nice and vibrant city. There are a lot of coffee shops, bars, taverns, and restaurants that can cover every taste. The Pelion nearby is pretty easy to reach and offers a combination of picturesque villages and nature. This time, during our stay, we visited Mezen, Filarakia, and Anemi. Don't miss Filippou cafe classique for coffee, drinks, art exhibitions or music nights.

A pretty town, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes, but all in an attractive setting of tree-lined cobbled streets and scenic port area. We would recommend Nikos taverna in the pedestrian street for excellent grilled food and efficient service-it’s always packed and there’s good reason for that- also the fish taverna on the port., which also serves meat dishes and traditional Greek cuisine. Very reasonable prices, good food and lovely staff. For breakfast, coffee and a nice little place to people-watch, we loved the Foodie cafe in the pedestrian street. Friendly staff and good service.

Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.

A magical area of Greece worth spending 2 - 3 full days or more. The Monestaries, the Hermit Caves, Prehistoric Theopetra Cave, the early Greek Orthodox Churches, such as the byzantine church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary , and the Hellenistic and Roman ruins - are all worth spending the time to visit and learn more about them.
