Wexford is a lovely coastal town on the Southeast coast with a real warm vibe to it. Cosy pubs and cafes with access to beaches that span miles with hardly anyone on them. You can spend days exploring the town and find lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes to relax, read and chat with friends or go driving to nearby beaches like Kilmore Quay and Curracloe. The Wexford Festival Opera is the perfect time to go and experience lesser known operatic works by a wonderful opera company in the very beautiful National Opera House. The festival definitely gives the town an extra buzz.

Quaint and picturesque town on the pleasant river Slaney steeped in Irish History. Enniscorthy was the scene of the 1798 rebellion where the united Irishmen took their last stand on the summit of Vinegar hill overlooking the town. The Castle and the 1798 visitors centre are worth a visit if you are interested in history as is the Father Murphy centre at Boolavogue. Nice beaches close by, greyhound racing, and traditional Irish pubs which are good for a sing song! Enjoy!

Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.

The cleanliness is superb.

The cleanliness is superb. The only downside is we dont have a private toilet/ shower room. Maybe if you travel with group this is okay because you dont mind sharing with your group. We have kids so its kinda difficult when we dont have our private toilet. It was my fault because i didnt read that the toilet facilities are shared

Medium sized Irish town sitting on the river Barrow.

Medium sized Irish town sitting on the river Barrow. Quiet on a Sunday but still worth a visit. Main tourist attractions are the Dunbrody Famine Ship where actors role playing as emigrants interact with visitors during a tour of the ship, the Ross Tapestry (note: not open Sunday or Monday), the Norman walking trail that details the origin of New Ross (some small hills to be tackled) and the nearby Kennedy Homestead and John F. Kennedy Arboretum (both to the south of New Ross). Plenty more to see and do in the area, particularly Tintern Abbey and the Colclough Walled Garden (best visited in the autumn when the many apple tress are fully laden).

Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar.

Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar. N8ce music at bar. Lovely atmosphere throughout facility. One blip was, a wet towel left by previous guests was still hanging on hook behind bathroom door. Cleaning staff need to check the hooks behind doors when cleaning bathroom area. Didn't upset me really. The overall stay was top class and I will be returning.

The priates cove wasn't worth it.

The priates cove wasn't worth it. It was expensive for each activity, and the place was very hilly, even the mini golf. Beaches are just lovely. Clean, not too busy, no trouble at all. The sky walk was a brilliant experience. The kids loved it. Would definitely do it again. The Geeks restaurant is possibly the worst restaurant Iv'e ever been in. The food was completely inedible, and the staff weren't great. Decoration is amazing though- so have your food at the lovely chipper, eat it at the beach, and then pop into the geek for dessert- as the decorations are trully amazing (movie stuff, like the harry potter floating candles/flying letters/platform 9 3/4)

Nice little town, lots of individual shops to meander around, interesting history, nice pubs, but only one that we could find, served food! We searched for ages, till we found somewhere to eat! We were disappointed at that to be honest. Also, OMG the one-way system is very hard to negotiate! We left our accommodation at 6.30am to drive to the ferry port at Rosslare and went around the system 3 times in the dark, before we managed to get onto the road we need! Badly signposted too!
