The Albergo is a small, quiet family run residence, more of a restaurant with rooms. My evening meal was excellent - typically Italian. The breakfast was simple, comprising of pastries and fruit with coffee, but enough to satisfy.

I liked many things 1) It was a beautiful place 2) It was in a nice neighborhood. 3) The owners were really helpful. I had two awkward requests and all of them were completely satisfied, such as late check in and special food supply. 4) Magnificent breakfast. Excellent taste, quality and choices. Moreover homemade and feel like mom's place. I really loved stracciatella cheese, thought that was mozzarella but was much tastier. 5) Rooms very comfortable and new.

The views were beautiful. The apartment was very roomy with thoughtful inclusions and the decor was artistic. The historical abbey and grotto within easy walking distance were a highlight of our stay.
