The staff at this camp are incredible. All of them did everything they could to make sure our stay was exceptional. The food was amazing and our guide, Jelly, was absolutely fantastic - an amazing tracker!

Archers Post is convenient for three cool reserves but it's remote so bring your own snacks and an emergency medical kit. The sun is brutal and the air is dry. We all got sun sickness and dehydration even though we used sunscreen, drank a lot of water and stayed in the shade. Nearest petrol station is 35 km away. Plan carefully. Don't forget your ID.

Getting around Maralal was easy, one aspect about our visit which we liked. We mostly ate at Ngari Hill EcoLodge, but had ventured out to Safari Lodge Camp and, more excitingly, at Ribs Garden for roast meat.
The people in Maralal seemed very friendly, hence, we felt free and secure to walk around the streets.
