This hotel was outstanding! Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

The place is absolutely wonderful, the staff is lovely and they make you feel at home. If you want to do excursions like a tour in the ancient city or a safari: they will arrange it and they make sure you have everything you’ll need. The chef also makes delicious meals. Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

Everything was fantastic! The hotel hosts had to give our room away to other guests and were so kind to find another lovely room for us for an even better price. The rooms are very beautiful and have everything you may need during your stay, including a hairdryer, a kettle, complimentary water bottles, coffee and tea etc. Also, the shower has nice pressure and warm water, which is often not the case in Sri Lanka from my experience. Their breakfast is very cheap, delicious and offers a nice variety of local ingredients. The hosts are also very friendly and happy to help you with anything you may need. Definitely would stay here again. :)

Delightful place surrounded by nature, family-run, managed by a very kind lady 🌸The host is always available to recommend activities nearby and to provide transportation services at honest prices 🛺Very clean rooms. The best cuisine we have tried in Sri Lanka, the lady is the queen of the stove! 🥘Recommended for both breakfast and dinner! Great value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The family running the hostel were lovely and very helpful. Greeted us with a welcome cup of tea on arrival and organised a tuk tuk tour to see the ancient city. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We were so lucky to be the first people stay at the beautiful mango garden villa! It was such an amazing place to stay as a group of friends but would be perfect for a family too. The owners were so lovely, generous and welcoming throughout our entire stay. The room is very clean, has a modern bathroom and the beds were so comfy (With a fan and AC!). Really good location for walking into habarana or a short tiki tik ride into Sigiriya. The balcony is a beautiful space to relax, watch the squirrels in the trees and admire the handy work of Dammika. The family helped us get around the local areas and cooked a beautiful breakfast and even a 5 curry dinner! (Which was soooo yummy❤️). If you are looking for a place to relax and feel at home after a busy day exploring and walking I would definitely recommend this villa and I hope I can come back myself!
