The breakfast was outstanding. Everything was freshly made and beautifully presented. I might add the friendly, professional, well-trained staff made our morning breakfasts on the beautiful terrace something to look forward to. We also requested that the hotel arrange a tour with guide for our trip up the mountain to view the Monarch migration. Our guide, Sidhartha, who shared his background as a biologist and his love of nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank-you to the Rancho San Cayetano and to Sidhartha.

I take groups of friends to Morelia every few years. I always stay at Los Juaninos. It is elegant. Having Breakfast in the terrace restaurant is a great way to start a day. The location right on the the main square is convenient. The rooms are beautifully decorated with period furniture. There is a quick modern elevator but I usually take the stone stairs as I love feeling the indentations in the steps of thousands of people using the stairway through the years.

Check in times in general can be a little too late 3pm.

Check in times in general can be a little too late 3pm. Morelia its selft has alot of Hisotoric and Culinary places to experience. I feel like Patzcuaro has a more diverse and authentic art, curios, souvenir community.

It is such a charming town with red and white walls, tile roofs, and cobblestone streets. It is walkable and there are many things to see and do. The food is delicious too. I highly recommend visiting!

Amazing place!!!

Amazing place!!! was such a nice surprise visiting here, The Park is really amazing, you can eat very well and it has a new place opened just 3 months ago La Charanderia, which is related to Charanda Uruapan, you can visit here and have a good drink, the place is brand new and also no far away is the factory where you can arrange a visit. oh, by the way, Do you know Uruapan also produces Macadamia nuts? you can find very good deals and products made out of this.

The room is very nice! Breakfast is the best.

The room is very nice! Breakfast is the best. But Restaurant food could offer more choices then it does. Maybe real steaks cooked to your desire? And Roasted chicken. Or fish? Beautiful setting and location. I believe the Restaurant could be a real upscale place. If given the right tools of perfection!!!

It’s a very picturesque town.

It’s a very picturesque town. However if you want to enjoy the experience of a small town don’t go when it’s high season. Too many people, vendors everywhere and very hard to enjoy the sites. They’re are few restaurants.

I like the convenience of the location close to the airport.

I like the convenience of the location close to the airport. What I didn’t like was . The building is old and smelled as such and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.. everything is old the carpet dirty and cobwebs inside the room . 10/10 would not recommend to anyone.

Zitacuaro is a good base for visiting to the area’s Monarch Butterfly reserves and I wouldn’t recommend it for any other reason. Despite being quite a bustling place, the town itself has little to offer tourists. No special points of interest, poor selection of restaurants and all close early.

There isn't a lot to like about Los Azufres.

There isn't a lot to like about Los Azufres. It's almost 3,000 metres above sea level, so a very cold spot. They charged for heating in the cabin and charged for internet use (it must be 15 years since I paid for internet in a hotel). The restaurant food was supermarket junk food and the tea was served in a chipped cup without a saucer. Staff are not properly trained although they are doing their best. It has great potential but the owners don't seem willing to invest and it's a shame because it's in a beautiful location.

Morelia is a fabulous town, with great architecture and a friendly vibe. We stayed on one of the main streets, within easy walking distance of the historical centre. There's a couple of restaurants with rooftop dining overlooking the Cathedral. The taxi from the Autobus terminal to the old centre cost 75 pesos, paid to the ticket clerk before you get in your cab.

A quiet, tradition Mexican town, full of surprises, little coffee or chocolate shops, small bakeries, great restaurants as well as local delicacies. Its a place to enjoy walking, discovering its roots and aura. It is the perfect spot to explore other great towns around, like Santa Clara del Cobre, a town completely dedicated to make cooper crafts, Quiroga, the shopping center for everything Michoacan, the whole region has to offer, Tzintzunzan, a blend of pre-colombian archeological sites, one of the first monasteries built by the Franciscan monks, and a modern town, offering a myriad of clay and straw craftsmanship. The more you venture into the region, the richier your experience, a place to be enjoyed many times over.
