We stayed at venao for 2 nights. We wished we booked more nights because this place was amazing. Not only the stay and location were perfect but our host Gabriel was the best host ever. He was kind and very welcoming which made our stay even better!! We would totally recommend this place!

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Las Tablas one of the most interesting towns in Panama. Amazing roof top pool with a view of the plaza principal. Great safe place to park the car. They even gave us a free cocktail voucher on arrival!

Location was amazing, also the facilities were super clean and everything of high quality. Also the surf shop and surf lessons provided right next to the restaurant were perfect. A big highlight was also the outdoor crossfit station for doing workouts - amazing!

I haven’t moved from the accommodation-it’s got everything! From a restaurant to a surf school to a private beach and even an art studio. A gorgeous location. After 10.30 they turn off the music and it’s super calm.

The location is good for the beach and walking into town. We drove to beach but you could walk, it's flat but a bit of a way. Great beach and worth going to. With some TLC the room we had would be brilliant, large with comfy bed, bit rough round the edges, which personally we found fine. Hot water in shower, working lights and TV. Not many accessible plugs, but that seems normal in Panama Hostels. AC worked well. Good breakfast, shame no fruit but hot food choice good. Nice pool, didn't go in but looked clean. Friendly helpful staff. Overall just needs some TLC to bring up to a great standard. These are our personal observations, overall we enjoyed our 2 nights.

This is a fabulous place, the spacious design and touches are great. Lookout for the corngrinder footbaths and the art deco lights. We loved the food, (we ate breakfast and dinner here) the staff were outstanding, helpful and friendly. The sunset view and beach are off the chart if unspoilt and wild are your thing. It’s 6k from town so alternative eateries are a drive away.
