The room was very clean, organized, good space. The location was perfect! It’s just 2 minutes walking from the Main Street. Erwen, the guy in charge, was a super host! He arranged tours for us, and gave us recommendations, and he was always very nice and helpful.

The property was tucked away from the main road, so was very quiet at night! You can tell it is a new building, as the rooms are beautiful and very clean! There is a lovely communal kitchen which we used a few times, it has everything you might need. The hosts are very responsive and kind. They have a beautiful dog named Tiger who hung out with us a lot. We loved our stay here and wish we had stayed longer!

We really love Casa Basa, the design is absolutely stunning, modern and clean. The attention is particularly special all the time. They rented us the best moto in the Philippines, super new! The location was also ok to go by moto or tricycle to town. Highly recommended 😀 exceed our expectations, hopefully we can repeat!

I like the place, the ambiance and the hospitality.. Alex (the owner) is very hospitable, nice and very friendly. The villa is huge and it’s very comfortable and convenient. they also have an infinity pool which has an incredible view of the ocean. the accommodation already included the use of all facilities and that’s definitely a plus! I didn’t want to leave, tbh, the beach was amazing. I wanted to live there (if only I could) — but yea, my family will definitely come back here.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were incredibly spacious and provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. Being right at the beach was a huge plus, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf during the day and watching hundreds of crabs walk along the sand in the evening. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience. A special thanks to Macel for his exceptional hospitality and for making our stay truly memorable. Very cozy place. Bed’s nice, they have a fridge and lot’s of freebies (from coffee, tea, to chocolate bars). The owner and the staff were also very accommodating. Would definitely come back here again.

Everything! This resort is the cleanest and nicest place I've stayed in a long time, they will change the bed sheets every two days and clean the entire room every morning. I definitely also love the integration of a surf school at Harana which makes everything so much smoother. Jessica the reception manager is the best, rarely have I ever met such a competent and nice manager that helped and cared for all my problems :) Pro Tip: Don't mind the price too much bc you'll get an amazing breakfast included!

Great staff. Air-conditioning was ice cold. The bed was very comfortable. I had a large room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Internet was free and fast enough for my needs. The free breakfast buffet was small but tasty and had enough selection to satisfy Filipino and foreigner tastes. The location was perfect. It was close enough to the Robinsons Mall to walk. It was also close to the Butuan Doctors Hospital.

We had a great experienced here! It’s clean, friendly and efficient staff, loved our every morning breakfast with nice ambiance at pool side, lots of Filipino food variety and taste good too! So happy for the good service during our family gathering and wedding reception at pool side. Have very little concern but it’s considerable and was fixed right away by staff. We will definitely come back here. Thank you so much!

We spent some afternoons going around General Luna, and it truly gave us that relaxing island vibe. We visited different restaurants, and most of them have a modern island style that still keeps the local charm. You can really feel that the island is improving and growing, with new cafés, shops, and beach spots popping up, yet it still keeps its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The people are welcoming, the sunsets are stunning, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. Transportation was convenient to and from the apartment.

Transportation was convenient to and from the apartment. Very cost effective. I learned of and utilized "tricycles" and "multi cabs". This was easy for me since I was in the company of a lady who spoke the local language. I recommend use of a translator or as I did, a special friend who speaks the language. I also disagree with booking.coms 3 out of 5 review. That is a low score compared to my experience.

Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype. The French bakery near the Surf area serves really really good breadz croissants, sourdough and other food. The burger place we went to is much much better than shake shack. The coffee place we tried serves much much better coffee than starbucks and zus.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact...

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

I was too early for good waves, but is an amazing place! The island is so beautiful, the people is great! Is a really save place and friendly. Local vendors do not bother you. Lot of traffic, but good vibes all the time! Love Siargao

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down to Pantukan wanted to break up the long drive south ! Butuan was a very busy city and lots of traffic. smog was bad due to the heat and high volume if traffic .We only visited the mall which was like every other mall ! We went to a pizza restaurant looking for alternative and guess what they only had pizza available everything else was off the menu ! But far play the pizza was awesome and very filling ! So 10/10 guys

Surigao is recovering from damage caused by typhoon Odette. I suggest waiting a year or so before visiting here. It was rainy and windy during our visit so not fair to comment. Did not feel safe to walk around at night. We observed many blatant drug users along the Seawall opposite our hotel.

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel...

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered
