- From US$517.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 597 reviewsThe territory and the room were very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful (if you would need anything, they would always try to do their best to assist), the spa center service is also very good (I’ve tried Thai massage, aroma oil massage and everything was beyond my expectations and the woman was so kind and delicate, so it was a true luxurious experience). The hotel is not big, but the way everything is organized, it feels so exclusive and private, the perfect destination for the romantic holiday. Also, the restaurant: we tried 70% of menu and everything was very delicious and various.Guest review byNurUkraine
- From US$227.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 448 reviewsWe loved our stay! Thank god we chose to stay at the Oceanside because we had no idea there were 2 different sides of the hotel. (U literally had to cross the street to get to the other side of the Villa just to use the bigger pool but we didn’t mind) Spent most of our times sun tanning by the Ocean and the food was great! Everything was great! Would definitely come back!Guest review byMonthiraSingapore

The luxury floating hotel is one of a kind. Enjoyed this place very much, everything is well organized like the transport from and to Phukatien Pier. You can btw reach the pier with Grab, but not for the trip back to Bangkok. Book a transfer in advance.Guest review byFrankDusGermany

I like Hua Hin because it’s a bit more laid back than other tourist areas but still has plenty of bars and restaurants to be found. Like most places in Thailand there are restaurants to suit every budget and type. I really liked the food and view at the far end of the beach ( Khao Takiab ) just walk across the sand and up the side of the hill, select a spot in the shade and sea breeze and eat some great food. Hua Hin main beach access is not great, it’s very rocky and they’re sharp! Unless your staying at a major resort most access is blocked, so better to travel farther afield.Guest review byPaulAustralia - 8.0
Lots of history surrounding the Bridge on the river Kwai.
Lots of history surrounding the Bridge on the river Kwai. The World War Two grave sites and museums are great to visit to help understand the history of the area, and create a very solemn and sobering mood, particularly for people from certain nations.Guest review byGuyAustralia - 6.0
It all depends on where you stay.
It all depends on where you stay. Location to transport and markets and the room facilities in your residence being the deciding factor. The river ferry goes there if you are near the pier and some areas have trains - buses are plentiful if you know which ones to use.Guest review byMR CHRISTOPHER GRAYThailand - 8.0

The temples are very interesting, and it takes time to visit at least 6 or 7. It's advisable to visit with a guide or a tuk-tuk. The city doesn't offer much else. Even the food options are limited (in July). Very good place Coffee Old City and Earthling Craft - Coffee & Bar (if you are not afraid of spiders)Guest review byRogerSwitzerland - 4.0
Not a lot to like.
Not a lot to like. There isn't really a beach most of the time - rather a stepped sea wall. It feels a bit rough. Probably not a destination that families should put on their list of places to go to in Thailand.Guest review byJamesAustralia - 10
Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful.
Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful. There is a local market near the temple. Interesting to watch around and taste local foods and fruits. People in the market who are selling foods are friendly and kind. Good to observe local people's life even while transit time of the flight.Guest review byY.O.TJapan - 6.0
The city of Nakhon Pathom is a nondescript Bangkok satellite...
The city of Nakhon Pathom is a nondescript Bangkok satellite. It's congested, badly planned, and littered with architectural eyesores, the most tedious of which is an ugly, bulbous chedi in the central area. In contrast, the province of Nakhon Pathom can be quite charming, particularly along the riverbanks and khlong-side areas. Even so, for most tourists, Nakhon Pathom is best understood as a midway point between Bangkok and more interesting provinces of western and southern Thailand.Guest review byIntermittent TravellerUnited Kingdom - 10
Bangkok is an acquired taste.
Bangkok is an acquired taste. Many people arrive to spend a couple of nights before flying off elsewhere, Phuket, Chiang Mai etc. It's appearance is crowded and chaotic around Sukhumvit where I mainly stay. However, the reality is quite different. A few streets back behind the madness is a serenity one doesn't expect. The places you can stay are World class for much less than you'd pay in Europe. It's safe and friendly as most of Thailand. Sukhumvit is only a tiny part of the city. There's the river, Chinatown, the Indian quarter, Arabic areas, Old Town. Bangkok is a fascinating city. Just give it more than a couple of days and you'll be surprised.Guest review byMagnificent MAGUnited Kingdom
