I have checked in at Ozone Cave Hotel and found it to be an interestingly designed hotel where you can experience staying close to nature, with beautiful rock formations. The room has high ceilings, almost 4 meters tall, which gives it a luxurious feel.

Room was big clean and spacious with balcony and good location with bike rental next door. Host couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We got a puncture on bike and he spoke to rental place for us I also left my watch behind and had moved on to another island and John kindly brought it to the pier to meet me with it off Ferry.

Super friendly and helpful host Mr. Ping had us updated on evening events we might be interested in and several links for good snorkelling locations off the beach. Spacious and comfortable (nice bed and bathroom) room with nice big balcony and loads of natural light. The tinted glass made for easy privacy, and great sleeps I think. We had the longest sleeps ever here! The room was very well equipped with fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, and dishes! We had a scooter, and the location is kind of 20 minutes from any spot you might want to get to on the island, which is awesome if you like exploring in that way. Loved the water refilled station!

We got dropped off at the wrong side of the hotel by the taxi from pier so we had to walk all through the rocks and wires from the beach, it was a bit crazy getting there and funny thinking back. Upon arriving the staff greeted us warmly, very friendly and delightful as well as attentive. Loved our room which had a private pool, the wooden style is very nice. They occasionally cleaned the room for mosquito’s which we appreciate a lot. My muay thai lessons were very nice, trainer was very helpful and I learned a lot. We got a spa day on our last day, which were amazing, we had a massage and bodu scrub. Everything went smoothly thanks to the great staff who gave us such warm smiles. I get why they call Thailand the land of smiles now!

The resort is incredible. The staff take care of your every need. Breakfast was delicious. Our room overlooking the beach was amazing. Massages were relaxing. Everything you need is in walking distance. Restaurants, money exchanges, 7-11 and laundry. We booked an island tour and Film took us to gorgeous viewpoints and beaches. Nancy coordinated our ferries, buses and taxis when we were leaving to go to Koh Yao Noi. So very helpful. Loved everything!

We loved EVERYTHING about this property! I am grateful to be able to share that it had been recommended for our elopement and did not disappoint. The rooms were picturesque from the heaven suite to the penthouse we felt like royalty. It is literally RIGHT on the beach and feels cozy and private. The staff went above and beyond, the food was excellent, and overall the hospitality was incredibly memorable! Love love love this property and will be back!

Amazing property, exceptional views - almost no need to go to viewpoints because it’s so nice hear. Great pool overlooking the ocean. Houses are very nice for a family, everything was clean and super comfy and modern. Restaurant was beautiful and tasteful. You can rent scooters at the property. The neighborhood is nice, especially the close by ones which you reach with the scooter. More relaxed, chilled and covered by nature, not like in the south.

Not the nicest part of island.

Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
