Dar Hi is an exceptional building located on an exceptional site overlooking a courbeil/valley of palm trees and the small town of Nefta. It is a stark architectural proposition that aims to redefine a hotel stay as contributing to and reflecting community life. Whether it succeeds in doing so is difficult to establish. We were the only guests in the hotel. It is however a great ambition. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with fresh fruit, pancakes, cheese, eggs etc. The evening dinner simple, fresh and tasteful. It was the beginning of December and the temperature was a bit too cold to use the outside pool. The communal spaces have exceptional views and so have the rooms. My husband very much liked reading while lying on a lounge bed overlooking the courbeil. We both liked sitting in front of the open fire in the communal area. the bed was comfortable and the shower great. We think it is great for small group stays while exploring the region.

This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms.

This is a lovely hotel in Tozeur right in the town centre but on a quiet street. The design mixes traditional brickwork with modern decor all in desert tones and was very lovely. The staff was excellent and spoke great English and were helpful. We booked a tour to the oasis areas through them and that was excellent too - the driver had a nice SUV and drove safely. We thought the breakfast was great - fruit, dates, a basket of breads and pastries, homemade jams and honey, eggs, yogurt, juice and coffee - nothing to complain about as it was quite delicious and served on a lovely patio.

Located in Tozeur, just 2 km from the town centre, El Mouradi Tozeur offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and terrace with bar. Tozeur-Nefta Airport is a 5-minute drive away.

Beautifully situated, large, slightly dated but well kept hotel. Welcome with a smile by the lovely Basma at reception. Huge room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, silent airco. Lovely little balcony, quiet. Huge and very clean pool, nice and fresh in the desert heat. Friendly staff.

Located close to the desert and halfway between the tourist district and the town centre, Residence El Arich welcomes you in an elegant building and is 3 kilometres from the airport only.

It is in the cite center, near the tourist attractions. The breakfast is well organized and good quality. The room is clean and tidy. The front desk also very nice, and helped us to book a jeep with perfect driver for desert trouist.

It looks better in person than in the pictures. The rooms were very cute and cozy. The staff were nice and let us (and other people) stay in the common areas even after check-in. Jalloul was so helpful giving his recommendations on what to do around. The dinner was SO good and they were flexible in terms of food choices even though it was late and it’s not like they have a chef. The entire experience felt homey and great overall.

In fact, the day we arrived, we were delayed on our arrival, so we’ve asked if a late dinner could be served, which was met without hesitation. We arrived and the dinner was waiting for us. We asked for Tunisian traditional food, and we found the tastiest food in all our trip in Tunisia. We had an wonderful evening and we felt really like in home. You will find a safe harbor with them.

We had an amazing experience. The place is charming, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect mix of comfort and Tunisian authenticity. The host was incredibly welcoming , always available, and even helped us find a great deal for a 4x4 desert tour, which made our trip even more special. The peaceful courtyard, the fire place and delicious local breakfast were also highlights. Perfect location, great service—I highly recommend it!
